Morning :j
Hope you are all fine and (((hugs))) to those who need one :grouphug:
Looks like it is going to be a nice day, my hubby has been ill since Thursday but is now up and about and I feel suffering from cabin fever "where are we going" as he has been in the house sooooo long.
Whatever we do I have to water my seeds (that have now grown!!!)
Have a lovely day everyone

morning gang
Well I woke about 7 this morning, Ive jsut had a quickread of the time out, gone and looked at my plants ( tomatoes look like some animal has been at them :wall:) and given the lounge a quick once over, I'll hoover once OH is awake
Dont know whats on the agenda today, I know we have loads to do here, but I fancy going to see some exhibitions in central london. theres loads of freebie ones on -so I might suggest it to OH once her surfaces.
Otherwise jazmine is better- all those OS hugs must be working. I did fold and buy her some tesco finestfood yesterday, which she has actually eaten but shockingly shes also eaten some of the cheapier Sainsburys one I bought which shed turned her nose up at
So her appetite is coming back ,im pleased.
Also she discovered last night we have a mouse living in a hole in the kitchen  She was so cute staring at the holeI know she'll get it, shes very persistent little jack russell and quick as a whip. OH went in kitchen to see what shed eaten and hed spotted the little mite as well darting about.
Washing machines on, i'll wait till OH wakes before doing much else ( thats my excuse)
Anyhow, breaky will be crumpets for me and bacon & egg for OH
lunch we may well have out
dinner im doing chicken & bacon pie with mini roast potatoes and probably rice pudding to start using up some of these random inredients in my cupboard.
Have a wonderful day moggins, many happy returns
Love
lynz:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Morning everyone! Dull here but hopefully warming up later.

Not much news from the Flittersnoop camp. Had a nice peaceful day without OH yesterdaygot lots of sewing done so now almost have a new summer wardrobe :T
OH booked us a holiday in Italy last night! Yay Yay Yay!! I'm so excited, it's years since we've been on a proper holiday. Now all we have to do is pay for it
Have made the decision to plant out my veggies today, and cross my fingers that we don't get snow next week :rotfl:
Little kitty is still groggy from all her medicinebut we think she's looking a little perkier today.
Have a wonderful day in the sun! Hugs to all!

Good morning!!
Not being one of the board's insomniacs, nor even a morning person really, I'm amazed to be on so early in the thread:D
It's already a lovely day and I've washing ready to go out on the line shortly. Not a lot planned. Church first, then maybe start the mammoth garden tidy? It's so bad I've lost heart with it which is a shame as my garden, albeit small, has always been one of my pleasures. (Had to be nobody else ever touches it:rotfl: )
DH duly took his early retirement as of tomorrow:eek: That's going to be an adjustment having him [STRIKE]under my feet[/STRIKE] wonderfully around all the time:D  I'm sure it'll be fun once I get used to it;) Of course the money side will be the biggest adjustment, but I'm sure we'll manage.
Not much else to report. My hair has stopped dripping down my back (I'm just out of the shower:D ) so I guess it's time to grab the dryer and attempt to style/tame it!!
Happy Birthday moggins, hope your children are spoiling you today. Your parents certainly did yesterday, didn't they, you lucky thing!!!
Hope you all have lovely Sundays.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOGGINS
Once again it was muscial beds in our house last night, inlcuding a full tantrum at 2.30 because we wouldnt let dd sleep in the lounge. DH has got up with her this morning but I will have to join them soon as he has to go and continue with the shed at the in-laws.
DD and myself will be doing gardening today once I get the house into some sort of order. My dad is calling on his way to the tip so I need to get anything I want him to take there ready ASAP.
Later on its down to the in-laws (who are still on holiday) to feed the workers again, luckerly this time its not my turn to cook.
Have a good day everyoneSorting my life out one day at a time0 -

Might pop to a car boot sale with family. Otherwise will sit back and enjoy rest of weekend. Have a good day everyone.

Much cooler here today and our 14 year old cat has gone spring mad! Rushing up trees, racing round the house and out into the garden again and nearly ended up in the pond! I have some more work to do in the garden as I am trying to get things settled in before we go away, thankfully we have a lovely friend who will water the garden and feed the cat for us.
Breakfast - Egg on toast
Lunch - Leftover bolognaise and pasta
Dinner - Pork chops, mash, gravy, carrots and steamed & buttered cabbage
Hope everyone is ok and has a lovely Sunday!

Morning all
I'm feeling rather bright and breezy for a change so I thought I'd go for a bit of colour in my post! The last few weeks I've been rather blue and I always feel bad that my friends have to put up with a dark MP as they don't understand why :embarasse , but then neither do I! Hoping the clouds have left for a long time IYKWIM.
Well, I'm loving everyone posting their pictures for people to look at, lovely piccie of a swan BRzl, though don't know why I couldn't look at the others posted yesterday.
Managed to write my essay yesterday (4000 words), but referencing still to do. Unfortunately I know it is a load of tosh, but I'm going to send it in and see what happens. I can now really tell the difference as I haven't been attending class due to work patterns. Penny-Pincher good luck with yours, are you doing an OU course? (sorry to ask, I'm sure you've told me before...but my memory is rubbish).
Went down the Barbican last night with my friend who'd had the second date with the bloke she met off the internet. First date on Thursday was fab and she was really excited about Friday. It turned out to be rubbish with him at one point belching and not apologising  . He seemed a bit rude, so he's struck off the list. As we're both studying today we didn't drink and ended up sitting there talking about our bad backs, discussing our courses and trying to put the world to rights. Very odd when all around us people were celebrating the Argyle win! Sounds like you had a great time Catowen, do you ever go to watch Albion play?
Happy birthday Moggins :bdaycake: .
Today I have some hand washing to do....which I'll peg on the line, catch up with updating accounts, finish essay, get on with other three courses I'm doing  , unpack at least one box and do a bit of work work as I'm feeling stressed that a month has gone by on the project and I have nothing to show! Oh and best of all I'm meeting two friends for lunch down at the harbour. Gosh I live in a lovely place
. I must get a camera so I can show you all!
TTFN, have great OS days everyone.
