I'll let you know what Prachuap Khiri Khan is like shortly, between Hua Hin and Chumphon. Got 6 nights there 24 Feb - 1 Mar, it looks blissful!

I love Prachuap Khiri Khan, I was there for a week until the 8th March - I just missed you!! What did you think about it PompeyPete?

It is really chilled out, has a beautiful beach just south of town. Unbelievably cheap seafood and you're not paying the usual tourist price for everything... I would return here again given the chance.

The 'Great' in Great Britain is hypocritical, the reality is most people I come across on a daily basis in the UK are self righteous, selfish, arrogant, ignorant, ill mannered small minded individuals who are still sailing off a victory of World War 2 whilst turning their noses up at anything out of the norm, and with an absolute contempt and fear of change.

Much as I admire your blog, you really need to do some research on the origins of the 'Great' in Great Britain before spouting off.

Benjus' post would be a good place to start.

We can't wait to make our final move there but we have to be a swallow for a couple more years yet.

House is in place but its the income side that's holding us back.

Boring in comparison to some but having lived there previosuly and leaving a bit of my heart behind it would have to be Menorca. A villa overlooking the coast, bliss.
