Mine came yesterday and they are fab! I've very thick wavy hair and these just glide through, without pulling. I was fairly happy with my Babyliss ones but they will be relegated to the 'spare' (3 women in the house so spare always useful!).

I ordered the 1" black ones on Saturday morning but I got an email from Sally yesterday morning to say they were out of stock and could not fulfil the order
I phoned to ask could they swap for the pink ones but was told I would have to re-order online but that there were 903 in stock.

I re-ordered the pink ones so hopefully I will get them soon as my old ones are only working when they feel like it

I wanted to order the wide ones, was planning to do it the other eve, instead had a car crash and wrote my car off, they were oos the next day! Hoping they suddenly find another box of them somewhere!

Ordered the wide plate ones.... I swear by ghd as being mixed race my hair is coarse and frizzy plus very curly.... I tried the genie this morning and WOW WOW WOW!!!... My hair had an added shine after use too!!!... My young daughter tried them too...she is due a trim of the dead ends on her hair... After use it looked like she had already had them cut off!!!!

I concur with above reviews. I bought the £65 GHD's and also these as a back up. Whilst the GHDs look slightly slicker (plates match perfectly whereas Genie plates are very slightly off, sleeker design) these do a better job! There is NO pull at all, they absolutely glide through my hair and it is perfectly straight in one pass. Amazing value for money. Never thought I'd see the day when my GHDs were back up! Thanks OP x

Funny you should say that - I bought the wide plate ones and the plug is exactly the same brand of 3 pin plug (the one with the european plug inside it) as my £117 GHDs - the only difference is the GHDs plug has a 3 digit number in white by the fuse.

Just sayin'.....

Give them a call. I was having trouble after putting in credit card details, the connection kept timing out. I called them this morning and ordered over the phone.
