I know nothing about hair straighteners and a google search for shopping results show up nothing. OTOH, Amazon shows no results for this brand either but lists other ceramic products for about £18 to £23. Are these really worth the £15? Wanted to get them for the OH. Thanks OP! :)

Bear in mind these only heat up to 200 degrees, which in the straightener world is rubbish. You can get Babyliss 230 degrees ones in Boots just now for 19.99 and imo are just as good as ghds. HTH.

I'm tempted to get them for curling my hair, but I'm not sure whether they were worth the rrp, this link shows genie products at wholesale price

3 minutes to heat up to 200 degrees? They're not worth it in my opinion.

  • Just read that the typical temp of the Mk IV GHDs that I have is 175-185 degrees.

The wide plate genies I just ordered heat to 210.

I'm willing to take a punt for £15 in delivery - I'll whack them on ebay if I dont like them! :p
  • my hair dresser uses these instead of GHD's. I've bought a bargain pair too. thanks OP
