HMV Administration [Gift cards NOW ACCEPTED!]

According to Deloitte themselves on Facebook, they haven't yet been appointed and won't be until later.
Surely this means that HMV can't legally refuse to accept gift cards as payment.

I suspect they only do it as the main way to retain any customer faith in the business model. I don't know, did they do it before Farepak or as a result of the aftermath and furore0

Perhaps Amazon should launch an online administration service. It would be cheaper for creditors and do to administrators what the net has done for the rest of the high street!:question:0

Theres no mention on the site so i presume yes, id pay by CC if you can.
Sometimes a co in this position will just disable the ordering process until the web team can design a new page.
I believe if they aren't able to meet their debts, they'd be trading illegally in accepting new orders. Don't take my word for it, I'm not qualified in the subject.0 -

Would have thought a message would be on the website saying the firm is in administration.
Isn't the website classed as a different business ?0 -
I dont think anyone even Farepak had thought of this. The ring fence was set up after Farepak by Park, their banks and the Government ( i suspect to save Gov face) as they got a backlash for not helping those effected out at the time.I suspect they only do it as the main way to retain any customer faith in the business model.
