Update on Gift Vouchers

Update on HMV gift vouchers: unfortunately, HMV in the UK will not be able to accept gift vouchers following the group’s administration. It is also unable to accept exchanges and returns. Whilst we fully appreciate that this is difficult news for customers, the financial position of HMV UK means that it is not possible for the business to accept these. The position of gift cards is the same as that of gift vouchers and holders of both will have an unsecured claim against HMV UK. Details of this claim should be put in writing to the Joint Administrators at PO Box 810, 66 Shoe Lane, London, EC4A 3WA.
Feel sorry for all the 4,000 staff that might loose their jobs!
HMV have called in administrators it's been confirmed. Shares will cease immediately.
No Returns, refunds or exchanges

I feel sorry for some, but there's a large number of staff who have contributed to the downfall of HMV.Retired member - fed up with the general tone of the place.0 -

Reports only say they will appoint administrators tomorrow, not be in administration instantly, there may be time to go spend the vouchers if your quick! I would buy anything that is saleable or consumable.0 -
