    Oh where has today gone?

MIL and FIL are staying so I've made up the guest bed, made dinner and pack-up for tomorrow, got kids clothes and bags ready, put kids to bed etc.

MIL says she'll wash up in the morning, and that's all there is too do, other than laundry but that can wait till I get home...

I'm off to put the heating on!

    Popping in to say Hi

Have washed, TD's and ironed. We had a pannetone gifted for the staff and I am turning the half that's left into Bread-and-butter pudding for my colleagues tomorrow...they are rather looking forward to it!

Good luck for the Scottish spouses for Thursday and Hex - love the 'have you anything you would like to ask' questions...

Thanks for that, and for your interesting life story. There seem to be a few teaching flyladies around - are we naturally poor housekeepers, short of time or just spend so long organising our students that we haven't got the energy to organise ourselves?

    Yes, yes and yes!!

I still like the teaching and the assessment side (I do Special Needs), but I have less and less patience for the paperwork, regulations, funding cuts and general dross that seems to take up all my time. Hence the thought of freelance. But we'll see.

Ditto that - I'm also in SEN.

Need to do a little paperwork for tomorrow so better get to it!!

    Hugs for all xx

Well we finally have central heating here after trying to heat the house with oil-filled radiators and fan heaters for the last 2 years :j

Kitchen is still as immaculate as it was last night (even after cooking a yummy thai green curry from scratch :T) so that is enough flying for today here - no need to do housework to keep warm :D

Just been to check on the littlies, DS has snuck into granny and gramps bed, and DD has got up, put her tutu on, then gone back to sleep :rotfl:

I'm bushed and planning for an early start tomorrow, since I have child-delivering-to-nursery help. Hoping to be out for 6.30 .

Think I've got a bit of catching up to do. But, catching up on sleep first (after a browse). Night all.

    - love the interview help. I'm going to print that out in the hopes that it might just work in my favour when I start applying for new job :D I can't stay self-employed and earning a pittance if I want to get debt free and send DD to uni!

Flying has been off list today, but I've had a ruthless sort out of my bookmarks (50%+ have now gone!), printed some things out, made a tiny dent in the photos I'm organising and feel like I've actually made some headway with tadpoles belonging to my giant frog :D

    To do:
    Investigate getting new smoke alarms
    HH photo sorting[STRIKE] MT[/STRIKE]!!!!!!
    HH file sorting [STRIKE]MT[/STRIKE]!!!!!!
    Ironing
Print new timetable x2 + pocketsized one
    Print sheets for DD
Work through GCP list for last week.
Note down GCP challenge for days when weather is more co-operative with outside jobs! - N/A just yet :D

    Monday Study and/or Living room

    Sweep/Hoover/mop the floor

Going to chase DD to bed and then see if I can get these lists & timetables printed for her :D

Good evening :o I have been awol this week.

Lots of good luck & posi vibes to Mr MacPep & Mr Ionafan :)And thank you Hex for your tips. Hopefully DH will be using them in the not-to-distant future :)

DH has spent the 24 hours trying to sign on!! For anyone that doesn't know (this is all new to us :o) It is all done online. It is SO complicated!! It is not helped by the fact I am self-employed, have been studying, have children from a previous marriage (and not a penny in child maintenance for 17 years!!) and other things. It kept taking him down the route of 'is your partner looking for work?' (er, no. We have TOLD YOU she is self-employed!!), 'when did the work dry up for your partner?' (er - at what point did we say it had?) And then, just when you think you are winning - the site crashes and you have to start again!!:mad::mad: Still, £71 a week could make a difference between eating & not eating :o so it has to be done.

We have been to the CAB again this afternoon to go through things. Have also spoken to the bank. Still lots to sort out.

Miss T has been getting upset going to nursery, as she didn't want me to leave her :( I wanted to scoop her up & take her home, but I know in the long run this won't help her. She is fine when her mum leaves her with me, but builds up to as the day goes on (she is there in the afternoons). It breaks my heart, as she hardly ever cries :(

Flying wise - DW emptied, dinner cooked. Kitchen looks ok. We are keeping on top of things - well, I am making DH do it :p

I have a question... does anyone have any tips for cleaning a regular wee patch in my hallway? And a way to stop the cat doing it? (and number 2's :mad:) She has access to a litter tray and goes outside. It is driving us nuts!! At this rate she will be looking for a new home!:mad:

    Tomorrows list:
phone tax credits to get application pack
    finish 2011-12 accounts
    tax return
other stuff I can't remember now!!

ETA Sorry - just read this back and there seem to be a lot 'cross' & 'sad' smilies. I will try and be more positive in future posts :):):D:D:rotfl::D:D:):)

Bossy I loved your post about Miss Moo getting up & putting her tutu on :) (see, I can do it! ;))
