    Morning all
Struggling with hump day today and AF has popped in a few days earlier than expected. Not walking, too cold, friend DD unwell too so I can fly and prep for tonight's Governors strategic meeting.

    Time to distrub DS3.

  • Good morning :D

Thanks for the tips re nasty cat. I thought it was bio washing stuff I needed. We have bio liquid, not powder - is that ok? Do we dilute or use it neat? I don't think we can put the litter tray in the spot as it is right at the bottom of the stairs!! She does use the litter tray, so she knows where it is!! It has been in the same place for years!

I have 2 girlies here, who are being very sweet & silly :) Just what I need this morning :)

DH is clearing the hall, ready to start scrubbing

  • Bad morning here, we slept in so DD not at school. :o On the plus side it does mean i can get her glasses fixed and hopefully her new one's will be in. I think she needs new school shoes so i can get them too.

No flying done yesterday so today is catch up as well as tech tonight. Need to get a few items wrapped and posted today aswell. Need to get my sleep sorted out, find i'm so tired by 6.30 so fall asleep only to waken at 10 and stay up till 1. Plus DS3 is now up late every night and sleeping in our bed (such a bad habit). Anyway i'll just have to turn it around. :)

Good luck to all fly husbands for interviews.

    Right better move..

Flyladies and gents, apologies in advance, but I am back to show off. All applicable jobs on the list so far this week are done!!! Due mainly to still getting up an hour before I really need to each day, and the fact that I've not yet taken the dogs for a walk today due to the ice. I will see if it defrosts a little later as it did yesterday.

Anyway paid stuff now beckons and today will be a very long busy one, so hope you all have a good day and will catch up tomorrow.
Spend less now, work less later.
  • HHC anyone??

    Good morning all

Had a lovely evening yesterday with friend. Meal was delicious and very little effort (pork shoulder steaks cooked all day in SC with leftover home made carrot'n'coriander soup plus a small onion, a few mushrooms and a stock cube; jacket potatoes, broccoli and courgette; followed by the remains of Sunday's gooseberry crumble and cream nomnomnom) and then we sat and talked for an hour or so and she went home at 9.00. We all enjoyed each others' company, and she has told my DH in no uncertain terms (she's allowed to be schoolmarmish with him) that moving house is to be regarded as a big adventure and not a reason for moaning about leaving a place where he's been happy. He listens to her ;) and will take on board what she says, which will make my life easier :j

Thanks, Hex, for the very helpful interview tips - passed on to DH, whose face lit up at the idea of interviewing the interviewers

GI, you and your DH are doing brilliantly. I hope you can laugh together whenever the opportunity arises - it's a great boost to healing and confidence.

Having flown everywhere yesterday, I am well ahead of the game today. My list, in no particular order:

    Clean sinks and toilets
    Clean grouting in ensuite
    Mop bathroom and loo floors
Hoover study and hall - DH keeps walking in muddy boots  *not* :A
Bring in bins from outside back gate
Feed birds (and TM4, who are already running up and down the tree and swinging from the bird feeders) and defrost water bowls with boiling water
    2 phonecalls
Wrap and post DGS2's birthday card and present - a garbage van that sings "To the dump, To the dump, To the dump dump dump..." to the tune of the William Tell Overture :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
    QHI
Finish next section of current job
Look up some info for DH
    Prepare tea
Do some more eB@y listing and CS sorting - I've got bids for 5 out of 13 items already, and I *will * clear the RoD within the next 2 weeks

Looks like an easy day. It's great to be on top of the housework again - I love my house being tidy and uncluttered :)

DH :A is even clearing his garage (aka wargaming and model railway room) and packing things away in crates. I think that having acquired the title of Mr Ionafan he feels he now has a FlyGent reputation to maintain! :T (Just watch those dirty boots, though :p)

(((Hugs))), spoons, sticks and :coffee: for everyone who needs them.
