That's not strictly true. The legal age for sex in the UK may be 16, but the legal age for pornography is 18... so if it was found that he had been sharing pornographic images with her then he could be in trouble.

We had a case recently at work where a social services risk assessment had to be completed for a lovely, respectable (and now 30-something) lady who had watched pornography and filmed sex acts when she was 18 and her partner was 16. His parents reported her and she ended up on the register.... IMO ridiculous in this particular case, but it does happen, although it appears to be relatively uncommon.

The legal age for consent is 16, but for photographs/videos the legal age is 18. This can lead to the position where something is perfectly legal between two teenagers *until* they film themselves doing it. Passing the pictures around will also leave anyone over 18 that receives them open to prosecution.

And that would be the most ridiculous and grossly disproportionate use of the SOR known. It would completely devalue that system. How utterly moronic would it be to be able to give a girl a seeing to, but not be able to send pictures.

I am glad you are out of that situation now.
I would be considering telling mum exactly what the 'row' was about - but only you know how she would react - is it going to be something you can deal with?
I know it sounds harsh - but, I would forget HIM, and treat my cousin with extreme caution! little, rhymes with witch, would be on my S*it list from now on! She is not innocent in all this!
Can I just say that in a few months from now you will probably be wondering what you ever saw in him? This experience will be painful now - but, invaluable in future - never again will you fall for charm, good looks and glib assurances of love!

In order for her to have sent you screenshots of him on skype she would of had to call him again, unless she had recorded the old calls. Clearly something she had no issue with despite telling you about him
