Have a nice trip MrB :D

I'm sat here with the heating on Annie it's not gardening weather today is it?

Currently watching more depressing weather forecasts on the BBC  shouldn't scare myself really..

I do feel sorry for the folks in the northeast though it's coming your way again as if you haven't had enough with all that snow.

Rest of the week isn't looking too bad but the weekend is looking dire again..

Potted on my now 3 inch aubergines in the kitchen yesterday and they are finally getting going today by the look of things ooh and I got 2 peanut plants in tins from approved foods so have stuckthem in and watered them so will see how they go.

My toms are all still in seed trays!
Lets hope it gets warmer soon, to aid the growing process...
It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.

Can't sleep due to the storm force sounding winds out there.
Hope my growing dinner outside is OK.

 That wind is getting stupid now even for here and it's still blowing this morning.
Me,in my wisdom thought I'd rest my trough of strawberries that was tucked up under the eaves out the front,on the bin for a water and got up this morning to find it spread all over the front garden on top of one of OH's roses (good job he's at work!)

All cleared up now and they'll hopefully survive as none were broken.
    They were flowering too.

How did everyone do up north?? They said it was going to be worse there.

Well that's refilled my pond. At least another two inches overnight. :)
If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.
  • I woke up to a lovely sunny morning this morning, which did wonders for my mood. Finish work in approx 8 minutes, home by 6 then into the garden. Hopefully the rain stays off. I've put the tender ones back in the growhouse this morning, just for the day, as temperatures are suppose to rise (albeit marginally) over the next few days.

Where in the uk are you?

No blossom left on my apple or cherry tree today, I wonder why? hopefully it's been there long enough to get some fruit.
Poor little parsnips had the watering can on them, but they seem to have bounced back up.
D&DD I have a trough of strawbs on a low wall against a fence and it went flying too....onto the remains of snail eaten courgette, good job I have more.

MBE....bet you're glad you weren't flying in that wind. Hope it all goes well for everyone, and yes I'll keep the thread water ;) whether you want me too or not :p

I've repotted everything that needed it, and all is easy for my mate to water. Had a quick weed round the beetroot and that's about all I've time for.

The vegetable of the season might turn out to be celery. I've got lots of seedlings and it likes it wet. :)
