Well, been to the vets, with Leo,with his abcess,£71, not one of my worst vet trips, cheered me up a bit!!:D

Went to me friends,to pick up a load of bones, that will keep my pack, amused, and save me a bit on dog food!!! The butcher also gave her a load of trotters,£3 for nine,£1.70 odd,in Morrissons for just 2!!!:D

Went to Aldi, for some bits, spent just over £31,now i cant be bothered to do anything for dinner!!:rotfl:

Filled up with diesel,today,£1.40.8p,p/ltre,the cheapest garage around, hopefully that should last me,3 weeks til pay day, then that will leave me £15,of my £100 diesel budget for the month for my money box.:)

    Havnt got a day off now,til next friday,so i am hoping for NSDs til then,otherwise,i will be busking,on a street corner,near you!!!:rotfl:

  • Glade you had a nice holiday, having a merry with the girls in the pub sounds excellant, dispite the weather.

I like the idea of a money box. Would you keep saving until you get £5975 and then pay it off?

    Hi,Starslimmer,
Yes it was a lovely little break, clear blue skies cheer you up enough, the cocktails did help a tad though!!!:D

Regarding my loan,my current repayments are £157.24 p/m,and around March time every year,i get my free month, being paid 4-weekly,so that will save me about £1250,which will then be added to my money box, then add another years worth of repayments, next years free month, and about £100 extra p/m in my money box, until next Apr,i should have enough to repay loan,2 years ahead of schedule.
Then once that loan is paid off,i will then add this ex loan repayment, onto my mort O/P with the extra £100,thats been going into my money box, taking the total to £450p/m O/Ps!!! Whoo hooo!!

I'm using my money box, instead of my savings account, for it,because i find it easier to be more disiplined, especially, when i have a little 'tot' up,every now and then!!!:)

Another NSD!!! 2 on the trot, just aswell,i have a bit of making up to do!!:D

Speaking to a work colleague the other day,he and his partner, younger than me, (not be a lot, mind;)) are going to be MF in a couple of years, had to tame me 'Green eyed Monster':rotfl: But there is 2 of them, both work,no dependents,so they do have a head start,i'm single,a divorcee, over the years, with a broken relationship and marriage, both times i have lost 'my home' never again, not that i am bitter,i will just be more shrewd next time!!:)

    So heres to 'me',going it alone,a single parent,............ well,of 4 Dogs,6 Cats,4 Ferrets and a pond full of fish!!!:D
And with this forum, things seem to be going well,so far, just need to keep it up!!:j

Oh Koda, you're doing fine. Couples who both work and don't have kids are in a different category from us single parents. There's no point in comparing. If you feel the need to compare yourself with somebody, then compare yourself with me (see sig). :rotfl:

Glad I could be an encouragement, Kodagirl. I have a whole diary full of exceedingly slow progress that you can dip into any time you want to feel that you're not the only one who can't pay off a million pounds in under five minutes! It's here.
