  • I keep thinking of more :o :
    • tidies up after me in the kitchen - as in throws out packet instructions when I'm not finished with them
    • he also comes through to the kitchen and asks me if I need any help..... just as I'm about to dish up
    • goes through the fridge every so often asking me 'how long has this been open?' - that's the one that gets me dragon-breathing with rage!
    • he whistles a very specific tune when he's annoyed at me. But he never tells me what's annoyed him, I just know he's annoyed.
    • he falls asleep really quickly if we'd had an argument at bedtime - while I lie there seething! I get the impression that's quite common amongst the menfolk :)

    I've been Money Tipped!
My DH has this annoying habit of putting stuff down and forgetting where he has put it, then expects me to remember where HE has put it :rotfl:

its quite common thing for my oh to do. I'll be doing my wee dinger about something, I'll storm off fully expecting to be followed through at some point only to find that she's nodded off on the couch.

In the spirit of fairness I irate him by having so many scatter cushions,
You can anger, irritate or annoy someone. Or you can be irate or make someone irate.
    But you can't 'irate' anyone - it's not a verb. ;)

Don't they sell those whistle thingies that you can attach to items and when lost whistle into them it whistles back and you can find lost item?

  • Sock bits!!!! My OH leaves sock bits all over the carpets!! This is despite me buying him slippers and pleading with him to wear the nice cotton socks that he has rather than the cheap nasty primarni sports socks that he has and wont get rid of!!

Me and my sister have a sock fluff problem in our houses. My OH has very nice cotton socks from M&S and they still leave fluff everywhere. Sock fluff plus cream carpet = me hoovering all the time.

I may just chop off his feet.

  • OK, now I'm going to post on behalf of Mr Happybutterfly......
    • I hate the way she phones me and asks 'can I park here?' - I don't bloody know, where are you?
    • I hate the way she insists on picking what to watch on TV when we go to bed... then falls asleep in 5 minutes but when I try and change it over, she'll wake up and say 'Hey, I was watching that!'
    • I hate the way she keeps tubs and opened jars of random food in the fridge for weeks before she'll throw it out
    • I hate the way she tells me her 'weird' dreams from beginning to end
    • I hate the way she thumps me in the morning if she's had a dream I 'cheated' on her. FGS!
    • I hate it when she eats biscuits or toast in bed... especially at 3 in the morning when she can't sleep
    • I hate it when she brings a bowl of dry cereal to bed with her at night - the crunching drives me bonkers
    There. Payback :rotfl:

  • My OH never checks use-by dates on milk or ham in the fridge and usually ends up opening the wrong one first.

Also, when making a cup of tea he will put the used spoon down on a teatowel!! Arrrrgh, why not just put it in the sink??? Or even just the kitchen surface, not on a clean towel!
