  • [*]I hate the way she insists on picking what to watch on TV when we go to bed... then falls asleep in 5 minutes but when I try and change it over, she'll wake up and say 'Hey, I was watching that!'

That's definitely one of my failings.

I've also recently taken to dancing in my sleep. Its a good dream when I have it but annoying to the oh when Im river dancing in bed next to her.

The cheating dream made me laugh out loud, I have done that:rotfl::rotfl:

    Me three.

Last time Mr Teeniepops looked at me, fluffy haired and puffy eyes and told me to go argue with the mirror because he 'can't control the fu**ed-uppedness that is your subconscious woman". Perhaps not verbatim but 90% there :)

Other times she often is in the bath for just about 10mins with the water constantly running even though there was loads of hot water before she got in.

thats perfectly normal - thats how you have a bath isn't it? What other way is there?

    These are just today's irritations:

    1. I offered him a lift this am to the doctors (on my way) - said yes, we set off when he wanted to, we were too early so he made me stop halfway so he could walk the rest. (he's always way too early anywhere but as we once missed a flight because of my refusal to set off any earlier I have to put up and shut up!)

    2. He wanted to come food shopping with me - this happens about once every 6 months and always means a 30% increase in the normal bill. He buys 'treats', nothing that will make a meal. I've told him he has to pay the difference today.

    3. He stood staring into the fridge whilst I put away the shopping. He'd been shopping with me - he knew what we had???

    4. And the usual daily stuff, house lit up light Blackpool illuminations, drawers and cupboard doors and curtains not quite closed, watching 2 TV programmes at once by flicking back and forth between channels..... I could go on. I'll ask him tomorrow what he'd say about me!

Edited to say - he does all the ironing which means almost anything can be forgiven.
  • I have lost count the times that I hit myself in the head because he followed me to the kitchen, opened cupboard doors then forgot to close them. Ggrrrrr

    Another few...going out ..
so everyone is ready and waiting and waiting and waiting...
suddenly he needs the loo , just has to wash the one cup in the sink, change his socks ... comb his eyebrows or whatever.
Dress sense  long shorts and a T shirt tucked in with an unbuttoned shirt on top and sandals with socks . Even my sons shout "NOOO":o

My DH has this annoying habit of putting stuff down and forgetting where he has put it, then expects me to remember where HE has put it :rotfl:

yes, I can relate to this one - he has asked me what I've done with his jacket and his watch in the past. Erm I don't know, I've not had them, what would I be doing with them? I mean its not like I've ever asked him where any of my clothes are, if I've misplaced them it wouldn't occur to me that my OH had moved them, or would know where they are.

Sock balls annoy me - is there some kind of special knack to managing to take your socks off in such a way that they make little sock balls every single time? When I take my socks off they don't form themselves into sock balls. Its a mystery.
  • 1) hate the way OH falls asleep on the sofa when I'm watching my fave program, it's then drowned out by snores!
    2) if anything to do with technology breaks/doesn't work - he leaves me to sort it! 9 times out of 10, I ain't got a clue and I end up mad with myself!
    3) he leaves every door open!
    4) he turns the heating right up when I'm not looking!
    5) he shouts questions at me when I'm a completely different part of the house, I can't hear him so end up having to leave what I'm doing to ask what he wanted, it's always something silly like 'where are my trousers?'
    6) before he looks for anything he asks me where it is, claims he has looked but really hasn't, it's always in front of his eyes!

    My husband:

Never eats with us. Even Christmas day he ate an hour after me and my son as he was 'doing something'. Even his weekend breakfast gets shoved in the microwave till he is ready to eat it.

    He repeats himself.

He calls me 'half a job Jude' cause he's a perfectionist and i'm not.

All he talks about is work and cars.

He hates going out socially..... Mind you, his mate has come up with the idea of a joint 50th birthday party down south. Great! except that we didnt celebrate my 50th and i'll be stuck at home in the Midlands whilst he will be having fun on his.....I aint figured out if i'm going to make a drama out of it yet.

Oh i could go on all night.:(
