Perhaps provide evidence, if you have done the research, showing the repeated delay on your flight number? If you're new. read The FAQ and Vauban's Guide

That was sent along with the initial claim to CEDR so they already have it. Really can't see how they'll weasel out of paying the compensation.
Next deadline on the case is appointment pending for 21st March so a few weeks before I'll know any more.0 -
Hi
I flew with easyJet today and flight was delayed by 3.5 hours.
The reason given for the delay on their app was:
‘Your plane was delayed on an earlier flight it operated due to air traffic control restrictions en route because of congestion.’
Can I claim for the delay or will not because they will say it wasn’t their fault?
Many thanks

You can try a claim.
How far you persue it depends on how much you trust the information given by easyJet and if you can find out whether or not ATC issues on a previous rotation actually occurred.
For starters download Vauban's superb guide. If you're new. read The FAQ and Vauban's Guide

Hi all,
Just wanted to give a positive story! Having read this I was pretty convinced I was in for a long fight with Easyjet. After a few "no"s to compensation my claim was passed to somebody else and they've agreed to pay for a large consequential loss - replacement flights for my missed connection - which was more than any EU261 compensation. I was pretty worried while I waited, but in the grand scheme it really didn't take that long. They're not always bad!0 -
Sorry to rain on your parade, Wendy, but your story does EJ no credit at all. It's the "after a few no's" that does it. If it hadn't been for your perseverance, they'd have got away with it. And you'd be out of pocket. IMHO, airlines who deliberately mislead customers in this way should be prosecuted.0

Hello, We're in the middle of trying to claim compensation for our journey home form Nice to London which took 32 hours in the summer and took us via Prague. We had a couple of cancelled/delayed flights and after our first letter have had a response back from Easyjet and BA to say that it was the weather and we are not due compensation but now I have escalated it and they say we can provide evidence to support our case if we wish to. I am trying to prove that other flights took off that evening but cannot find the historical data without paying for it. Does anyone know where to find which flights left Nice airport on 09/08/18? Thank you0

You could sign up for a 30day membership to flightstats, make sure you cancel before 30 days are up to avoid payment.
Good luck.0 -
Can you layout in order your flights including times and dates and flight numbers and the reasons for the cancellations/delays0
