Thanks in advance
Edit: bott and Co say I can clain up to 250 per passenger..shall I use resolver??bott and co?? Please guide me......
Hi,
The easiest option is to use Bott & Co, but it will cost you around 30% of your compensation.
Good luck. Please read Vaubans superb guide. To find it Google and then download 'vaubans guide'.0 -
Thanks guys....
Just to let know everyone who had issues with EasyJet....
I have sent a claim using Resolver....got an automated response saying that email address is not valid anymore...
You have to use their claim form on their website..
https://www.easyjet.com/EN/Reclaim.mvc/Index
You can also claim any expenses following their "contact us" link:

I tried and they say I am due £250 per person...
Which reminds me that I must get in touch with that oil company executive who needed my help to transfer his fortune out of the company - all he needed was my bank account details to make the transfer
Flight was EZY5226 on Monday 13th. VLC - LGW
I've been reading more and I can't see any indication that there was a strike on the 13th...0 -
Hi there,
I had my LGW-GVA flight delayed by around 3h20m on 11th June. I filled in a claim on Easyjet's on-line application form the next day.
I've heard nothing so far. It says it may take 14 days to look at my claim, but I didn't even an acknowledgement of the application.
Is that normal?0 -
Hi
Ive sent my application few days ago and havent got anything back...just same as you message after sending a claim that it might take 14 days...no email confirmation...nothing....0 -

Are you entitled to compensation due to the delays caused by the hole in the runway at Gatwick. - This has been going on for some time now so is this extraordinary?
My Son has been diverted to Stanstead & had to get off the plane there and then will be transferred - it is over 3 hours when he eventually gets to Gatwick.0 -

Hi,
Not sure it was the same problem as last time....

Either way tho it's a bit unclear as to whether it is an EC or not. On balance I believe it probably is not, as the airlines pay the airports to provide services for them so they have some third party responsibility.
Try putting the flight details into a few flight delay calculators and see what they say. If they will not take on the claim it could be difficult.

wrote to easyjet following a 5 hour ddelay from amsterdam to gatwick part of the delay was the plane on a previous earlier in the day from amstedam to gatwick was hit by lightening but then the replacement plane sent out was 26 rows long instead of the 31 row fully booked plane that was meant to be coming, causing a further 2/3 hr delay while sat on plane as they hadnt sorted out prior arrangements for the over subscription . i also complained about a number of other things ( no refreshment vouchers, no refreshments whilst on plane etc and the reply i got was....
Dear Ms Brown,
I’m very sorry for any inconvenience we may have caused you following the disruption to your flight to Gatwick.
Our aim is to operate all our flights safely and on time. We do all we possibly can to minimise disruption but unfortunately on some occasions we’re unable to keep to our schedule.
The compensation rules set by the EU clearly state that if the disruption is within our control you are entitled to compensation and if it considered ‘extraordinary’ then no compensation is payable.
Having looked at the details of your flight EZY 8878, I can confirm that the reason for your disruption was due to weather conditions. This event is classified as “extraordinary” under EC Regulation 261/2004 as it was outside of our control. This means that in this instance there is no compensation payable.0 -
Easyjet are spouting a whole crock of bovine excrement.
Lightening strikes, especially on the previous flight are NOT EC. This has been won in court.
Write back making your letter an NBA then proceed to court papers if this has no effect. If you're new. read The FAQ and Vauban's Guide
