Depends on the reason for the cancellation. What did Flybe say?
  • Clarity on Court Action
Tech defect Sept 2013, delay over 3 hrs. Passenger was my mother. CAA useless as always, Flybe ignore Wallentin wanting a UK binding ruling, now ignore Huzar putting faith in van der someone or other. If I take them to court (representing my mother, don't remember legal term) where would the case be heard? cheers

The case would normally be heard at the Claimants local Court, when you fill out the court paperwork you specify which Court you would like to hear the case.

    Good luck

Sorry - Slightly off topic, just wondering if anybody knows what type of aircraft flybe use to fly from Southampton to Jersey..

The reason I ask my daughter has never flown on a prop plane, what I lovingly call a Whoop Whoop plane, and thinking of giving them a try from Leeds to Southampton then over to Jersey. My only other option seems to be J2

Successfully sued Ryanair in 2013/14...and have been 'helping' litigants since then.

    Current known score:-
Dr Watson 35 - 0 Ryanair / Ince and Co

Go to post 622 on the Ryanair thread to read how to sue them safely.

Usually a DH4. only 4 seats across so narrow body BUT usually more legroom. Bit noisier, bit slower (takesoffs usually less noisy) but otherwise very similar to small jet like embraer. They are really a jet engine with a propellor :) Can be a bit scary if you sit at window next to prop......

Its just when you see the props start to spin and imagination says "what if one of those comes off? Itll slice thru this 6mm of aluminium next to me like butter...... But I guess the end result will be the same if the prop falls off, no matter where you sit.... ;)

..... and I always thought that they could fly with one engine, in fact I've seen them taxi with only one running, why don't they just go round and round, weird.....

Just a quick check on plane spotters, and it seems to suggest that most are Jet (no prop) Embraer ERJ-170 I really fancy a proper Whoop Whoop DCH8, don't know if that's a recent change but I'll report back later in the year with our experience.
