Only if you embrace punctuation!
Of course you can claim, but you can't expect anyone to offer a view on the likihood of success on such thin info. When was the flight? Why were you delayed?
FAQs are a good place to start.0 -
hi new on here, I sent first letter claiming compen nd received letter back within the 14 days, stating there at bizzy time nd to wait 28days for a full response off them, is this good? Or should I not give them 28 days, after reading all comments seems nobody apart from 1 has been successful with there claim0

If you are going to see this through completely you will find that it is not a quick business; at least the 28 days they quoted you is less than the 56 days they were quoting earlier this year!
Expect the following:
They will reply, probably in less than 28 days, rejecting your claim.
You then send an NBA, giving them 14 days to reply.
They will reply, probably in less than 14 days, stating that they are confident that you have no case.
You then start a legal claim, which will take several weeks/months to come to fruition.
By the way, good to see that you edited your original post to correct the spelling!0 -
Thanks for the reply.. Yeh after reading everyones experience with them in expecting them to refuse my claim, does anyone know what they actually do accept as a valid claim? Seems that no matter the reason/fault/etc for the delays there saying there not valid? They need to accept some fault surely seems its everybodys fault but there's? X0

You are correct in that Thomson are currently taking the stance that no claims are valid; either you have gone past their (incorrect) 2 year limit or the delay was down to "exceptional circumstances".
We can assume that the reason for this is simply that a certain proportion of those who get knocked back once/twice/three times are going to decide that it is not worth the bother of carrying on and will just drop their claims. Investors in the business may approve of this approach in that it reduces Thomson's outgoings.
I am sure that anyone reading this thread in six months time will be seeing many more success stories.
If you are wondering whether it is worth continuing with your claim you could put the details here and see what the general opinion is, but you will have to be prepared for a long haul.0 -
