Flight delay and cancellation compensation, Tui/Thomson ONLY

I went through Resolve and then CEDR.
I have been awarded €1600, as there were 4 of us. However, I am still awaiting payment!!
I have contacted Thomson and they will chase their legal team...
The flight was delayed as they had to fly a member of staff into Iceland to take the place of the sick member of the flight crew.
This IS within their control as they should have staff on standby. A school doesn't shut because a teacher is sick!!
You need patience but hopefully you should get what is owed to you.0 -
I was delayed on a Lanzarote to Bristol flight on 25/11/2012 and I need to get the details and flight number to be able to write a letter to the airline (Thomson). How do I do this free of charge?
flightstats.com won't let me do it for free?
Thanks in advance!0 -
I have answered this on the Thomson thread0

I believe this should be €400 per passenger0 -
Your right I was looking at two threads the other one was €600 and it must have just stuck in my mind.:beer:0

I've tried emailing Thomson and they haven't replied so I'm going to send an MBA. As I've already been to adjudication and won, can I still use the wording on the Vauban's guide sample letter or should I use my own? Any one have any ideas? Thank you in advance.0

I'd keep it very short along the lines that if you don't comply with the decision of the Adjudicator by (say) 7 days, I will commence proceedings. And (on the basis that one should never make a threat that one is not prepared to carry out), if they don't comply, sue them. No more messing.0

Thanks for that, yes I will sue them if they don't pay up!!!0

Worth you having a read my guide before starting legal action. It explains that you can't do MCOL for multiple claimants. But there will be some other stuff of use too - even if I say so myself!0
