  • My latest letter doesn't mention anything about the Supreme Court making a ruling and so it seems that they have stopped trotting out that particular untruth and are just relying on their pre-eminent QC's advise (which one must assume has been amended since its been pointed out to them that their Supreme Court ruling doesn't actually exist).

My latest letter has dropped the 'without prejudice' bit too so maybe they have stopped using the work experience peeps to draft their legal letters.

In any case, I'll be staring a Money Claim on Line this week once I have had a nose through the new Civil Procedure Rules to check what has been changed since the Jackson reforms took hold.

The UK Supreme Court has never given a judgment on thematter of 261/2004 claims.

That, however is not what the airline(s) are saying, only "International air travel"

    Dear all

I posted on the main forum but just to let you know that I was due to go to court last Thursday and Thomson agreed to settle out of court for a delay from 2010. Thomson agreed 400 euros each (2 of us) and court costs. My ex-husband is a barrister and he did the claim for me and I am happy to email anyone a copy (it quite lengthy).

This was despite Thomson saying it was 'extraordinary' circumstances (it wasn't) and lying over the distance from Manchester to Palma (to try and get the lower amount). My case was put on hold in 2010 but I didn't give up!

Hi Kerrie, I would really appreciate a copy too. I am about to take Thomson to court. See my post #856. I've sent you a private message with my email.

Write a Notice Before Action letter (templates in the FAQs) and then taken them to court.

This may sound like a stupid question but do I quote in the NBA letter "I am aware that judgement has been handed down in the current ECJ case (C-629/10) on October 23rd 2012" or is this not relevant.

    Your help is much appreciated.

Yes, you should set out the legal basis for your claim.
  • Please can you email me a copy.

    Many thanks
