Hi all
I orginally complained about 6 hour delay from Orlando to UK on the 11 March 2008, back in February 2013.
First reply was the 2 year ruling
Now got letter from CAA saying no option to pursue action through court, in light of 6 year time limitation.....
Please......what can I do ?????

Hi NoviceAngel
Sorry to be a bit vain but I have read through the guides a few times...
If its over 6 years it says try EU regulator, which in my case is the CAA !!! and they have said no way........
What would you suggest I try ??????
Many thanks0 -

If your claim is for a delay over 6 years ago, I would have to say unfortunately forget it, your very unlikely to succeed.
It's just too long ago I'm afraid.

Hi All, so I tried to email them the NBA email (via their online complaints page) and it seems like they have put a character limit, as I keep getting an error message, but its a vague error message, so I'm now paranoid they have purposely done this to prevent people emailing them.....off to the post office I go tomorrow morning!0

Exactly, don't give up, pursue your claim and issue that NBA letter (by snail mail), go from there and if you haven't read Vaubans guide read it and all your questions will be answered. After reading PtL Vaubans Guide , please don't desert us, hang around and help others!

I had same problem so sent it by email to directors with a hard copy in post. Directors team replied to say they would respond within 14 days but nothing since so doing Claim today.0 -
The Court have responded to my 1st November letter post Huzar. No response from Thomson yet. The stay is lifted. Thomson have until 18 December to say why their defence should not be struck out on the basis there are no reasonable grounds to defend the claim, judge will then decide matter upon receipt of letter, if no letter received then defence will be struck out and I can enter judgement for the sum claimed. Either party subject to fee can apply to have order set aside. Let's see what happens next and if Thomson respond.
One final point I am still not clear what exchange rate to use - date of travel or today's date. I'm sure it's date of travel but I've seen conflicting views. Is there anything definitive? I know there was a post referring to CPR regulations but that didn't seem to be in English!0
