    1.47 a pound think you need to take a reality check on that rate I think the last time it was anywhere near that rate was when we first went in the euro and in that case you would be out of time.I work with currency and we sell at competitive rates but it has been many years since it was that rate this year the best rate has been about 1.18 a couple of years ago it was closer to pound for pound you need to actually google the rate for the time you are claiming for if you dont have a receipt for currency purchased at that time

    Can't see any reason why not. Many claims have various causes of action against the same defendant. So provided it's the same defendant, you are simply claiming £x for the first delay and £y for the second plus interest on each.

    There is no limit to the number of claims you can make against a defendant in an action. If you had brought two separate claims against the same defendant, it would probably be consolidated into one anyway.

    I have, although it was the outbound and inbound flights on the same holiday that were delayed.

    I'm a bit confused. I thought I had read some recent posts where Thomson have now stated they will look at claims over 2 years ago. I've now read posts where people are still being told they wont consider claims over 2 years ago!

    I'm not sure it matters, frankly. The law is the law, and such nonsense does not stand the withering stare of the court process. So if Thomson are being stupid, punish them by initiating legal proceedings.

    I usually find that a short sweet letter is needed when companies fail to reply "The courtesy of a reply to my letter of
    will be appreciated". and send copies of previous letters.
    That usually does the trick

    I received Thomson's defense this morning, 5/7. The letter was dated 1/7 and posted 3/7, their 28days expired on 1/7. I have already sent the Request for Judgment, it will be interesting what happens now?
    Oh, by the way, their defense is a mirror copy of the complete rubbish others have had!!
