Answers already there on Page One. You have a legitimate claim and due a considerable amount of money ~ well worth the research and time it will take. If your S-I-L doesn't want the money then PM me for the charity I gave my money too0 -
Thanks again 111KAB for your help. I wasn't being funny by asking you about MCOL. As I said, I'm new to all this.
Anyway, we as a family are going to work bloody hard to get back what we are owed.
Thanks for taking the time to reply to me. Much appreciated.0 -

Just one thing... Do we have to wait for a written response, in which we asked for, or can we go ahead with proceedings on just the phonecall we received? Sorry to be a pain!!0 -

From the sound of it you have to issue an NBA (I suggest 14 days) but you must decide who is the lead person fronting you all or just two of you. I am assuming you are not going the NWNF route.0 -

Not sure which route to go yet. Going to have a family meeting on this, hopefully this weekend.
As my brother in law is the lead name on the original booking, he took the call from Thomsons last week. After a heated discussion on the phone, he asked for them to put it in writing to him. But as yet, he has not received anything.
That was why I was asking if we needed that written confirmation that they are not going to pay. As we have no proof as to what was said in the phonecall.0 -

Get BIL to front - forget the 'phone call completely. Let him decide which way he wants to go. You or NWNF firm put in 'proper' written claim to Thomson and go from there.

Any suggestions to my last post #1508 (page 76). Not really sure where to go from here.
I am also writing back to Thomson acknowledging the letter received and also notifying them I have raised an MCOL, should I keep my defence info or should I let them know what it is?0 -

wait til they acknowledge, then file their defence, its a bit of a waiting game, ( game being the operative word).
Then once you get their defence you do your witness statements and pick apart the defence0
