Not sure you have mine, which I referred to in post 443?
MON7909 Corfu to LGW 20 Sept 2010
EC: faulty wiring in nose wheel
The 443 post didn't have the flight number or exact date of travel Johnny.
I'm trying to get the list to be more definitive. It's a job to know whether to try for some sort of chronological order based on flight numbers, or maybe dates... but at the moment I was going for the same excuse on different flights, where possible. Cracked windscreens being a good one as the claim so far is just *two* per year.
But if it can be established that it's two *every* year then it's not extraordinary, just a twice yearly occurrence.

Lol... I even changed the thread title to read "Listed flights denied in OP" :rotfl:0 -
Mark re your post number 556 Yes my idea was a list of flights where claims have been lodged with Monarch but are pending awaiting for an answer. Just The flight number departure date and airport and destination. Only basic information. This would show the number of different flights were claims have been lodged and are awaiting a decision. I do not know if this is fesible and a good or stupid idea. It is a suggestion and if you think it is not worthwhile that is fine. Thank you for all the hard work you are putting in on this subject.0

Tom, agree re Mark's efforts particulary as his claim has been met. Unfortunately I believe Monarch have so many outstanding unreplied claims it would be hard to keep track ~ just take a look at Monarch Facebook page and you will see an almost hourly update of dissatisfaction. There is a guy on fb who is in the process of setting up a website www.monarchcomplaints.co.uk which should go live early next week ~ this may be a good place to start off your idea coupled with some factual stuff from Mark and Centipede.0 -
Yeah I think there's too many Tom. Monarch have also advised me that they are getting claims from delays of 10 years ago, for flights with delays of less than 3 hours, also from people that didn't even take the flight!
I'm also not sure where I would gather the info from, not everyone on here even records their details accurately for a denied claim.
But the new web page that is detailed above by 111KAB sounds like a good start.0 -

Thanks, Mark, my post was not meant to sound critical - far from it, I'm sure everyone here is very grateful for your tireless efforts.
IMHO a list of denied claims based on excuse/cause would be the most useful.0 -
Mark is it possible for someone to tell me the reason ZB3566 was delayed? even in a private message? this is the same flight ref as mine... I would appreciate an answer...0

Thanks for the information, if our thinking is corrrect this plane then flew out to one of Greek islands and on arrival back at Manchester at approx 20.00hrs it was found to have another fault and we were delayed for a further 3 hours at Manchester with everything closing up for the night. Finally left Manchester at Midnight instead of 16.45 hrs.Hi
We landed at 10.35 on the 30th some 10 hours and 35 mis. Late0 -
Claim denied for:
MON5953 Corfu to Gatwick 26 July 2008 - "the aircraft originally scheduled to operate your flight developed a ruptured left hand left bleed duct on a previous flight. This rendered the aircraft unservicable and unsafe to operate"
Not sure if this means the flight before the flight before our flight was rendered unservicable...
..."in order to reduce the length of delay, we arranged for the first available aircraft from within the Monarch fleet to operate your flight..."
where does Monarch keep the fleet? In USA?!
Not sure whether to ask them again to explain more (i.e not extraordinary circumstance) or take the court route?0
