It doesn't matter really Tia, you wrote to them, they had the chance, they have failed, so it's time for court now.

Off to court with you. They've already had one ruling that tech issues aren't EC's, perhaps the judge has to tell them again that they can't have a separate test case for every single part on an aircraft :undecided
There you go Mark2spark I am being told it was the battery!0 -
Would you write to the CAA and wait for a response or issue court proceedings at the same time ?0

Oops before anyone points it out I have just realised I have criticised Monarch of a typo and I too have made one saying they received my claim on 30/10/13 I meant to say 30/10/12. Dohhhh!0

I would file a court claim now, but also write to the CAA as back up. 20 weeks for the CAA to reply, I doubt you'll get a court date before that.
There's been reports on the Thomson thread of Thomson settling the day before court so clearly there's some brinkmanship involved as well.0 -
I've now amended the OP to include EC denied flights/claims.
They are starting to stack up now.
Let me know if yours isn't there.
I need Flight number, destinations, and date. and EC reason :rotfl: )
Glentoran - what was your EC please?
Vauban - what was your UK destination please.0 -

Thanks Mark, not sure whether it's good or bad to be able to see just how many flights are being added to the Denied list!0
