Really? That is most careless of me. I took the liberty of venturing into the twittersphere today, but I don't think I liked it very much!
Your ventures on the twittersphere have crossed dimensions to the facybook thingy, and others TA, your advice is well thought of and respected my dear colleague in compoland. I think we shall look out for you on this morning soon? or perhaps in the new years honours list? lol:)

All that is left for me to conquer then is Monarch's Christmas card list. Though in fact I am pretty confident that I must be on it already!0

I have received 2 claim forms today from Monarch for a 5 and 1/2 hour delay of flight ZB684 in May 2012.
They are asking me to send EITHER the booking confirmation or our boarding cards as proof else my claim may be "delayed or rejected".
Can they do this? I no longer have either and it should surely be easy enough for Monarch to confirm that my partner and I did actually board the flight.
Any advice? Thank you0 -

What do you think my odds are of receiving compensation?...
27 hour delay travelling to Mexico from Newcastle on 16/08/2008 just slightly over the 6 year period :"(
Also a 7 hour delay on the way back
If only I had read about this a few months back :"(
Thanks

Because you're over the 6 year limit, you have now lost the right to take them to court. If you read through all the different airline threads on this forum, you'll see the difficulties people have who are well within the time limit.
I believe claims can go back to 2005 but are never successful because the airlines choose to ignore them, so I'd say your chances are very slim.
Having said that, you could send them the template letter which you'll find in Vaubans excellent guide and see what they have to say.
Best of luck.0 -

I agree, you have no chance to get compensation.0
