Jazz do not threaten it, just go for it, they will not respond to the threat as you will see from those of us who did so before commencing it...
Also they do read this thread, so will know before your letter arrives you are doing it lol...
Good luck and welcome to the court club..0 -
Just an update to the Russetred family claim. I have sent a counter claim to Monarch, which they should have received by now, saying we would be willing to accept 3000 Euros plus costs of £69. In other words we are offering to let them off with the 8% interest charge which considering the fact this goes back to July 2008 is a very generous and reasonable offer.
I have contacted my Sherriff court and Monarch phoned to say they will be putting in an appearance and that they had been in contact with us. This would have been their offer of £2000.
The hearing will be on 30/05/13 at 10am. I am so looking forward to this. I have organised all my paperwork and I am ready to present my claim. I hope they do actually show up!"Sometimes life sucks....but the alternative is unacceptable."0 -

I think your offer is very generous, all things considered. That's about £1000 you've offered to shave off their bill. More fool them for not settling (or at least no yet!).
Hope you're across your gospel according to St. Wallentin, and best of luck from everyone here!0 -

Looks like 7/10/12 from this: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/59484787#Comment_59484787
sorry for the delay, centipede100 is correct. The technical reason for the delay was a seat track replacement or some such rubbish. It's already listed in the 'denied claims' section
thanks

A quote which often serves me well - "Never argue with an idiot. They bring you down to their level and beat you with years of experience."If you're new. read The FAQ and Vauban's Guide

Ok, so I'm ready to go with the MCOL against Monarch.
Am I right it putting all 4 claimants names (me, hubby & 2 kids)?
I have:
1. letters/e-mails/invoices etc
2. Watchdog episode link with literature
3. Monarch Facebook comments(to show customer service)
4. Wallentin full report
What else can I gather please?
Do I blurb it along with statements from our family saying how upset we were and tired.......... ??
Do I ask for interest to or is it a case of getting greedy?
Just get a bit daunted when I read that others have got their 'cases' together and I'm just a bit panicky that I haven't got enough or missed something................ please help0 -

You do not need any of 1 > 4 at this stage. Yes you ask for interest (work out a daily amount at 8% from date of delay). 4 Claimants correct. Simple wording on particulars of claim reference 261/2004. The other stuff you mention comes later when and if you have to submit your witness/claimant statement.0 -
Thanks again KAB111
I just want to get everything ready......... just in case.......
Can you think of anything further I could gather please?0
