Within a couple of days of being served the claim, Monarch filed an acknowledgement of claim. All they've said is that they intend to defend the entire claim. They now have 28 days to do so. They're basically playing for time.

They'll send you - through the post - a great cut 'n' paste defence! Enjoy. I did mine.

During this week will file MCOL, but reading in the thread of some people's preferences to N1 form, i wondered what this is - is it the paper version of filling in the online form? And which will be better for my circumstances, ie five of us claiming me/hub/3 kids - 1 under 2? thanks for any clarification...

You can only claim for those who paid for seats so the youngest if they didn't have their own seat cannot claim

But are infants named as passengers or just 'infant' on passenger lists ?

    From the regs
    3. This Regulation shall not apply to passengers travelling
free of charge or at a reduced fare not available directly or
    indirectly to the public.

Which covers a lot of infants

i paid for the toddler - £19, so will include him in the claim anyway, but wasn't sure of the difference between the N1 and online MCOL, ease-wise and cost-wise.
