Did the same with a full kitchen from B&Q. They reduced it by 25 or 50% a few weeks after I had bought and fitted it, so straight in with list of what I had bought, onto the trolly, paid for, out, back in and returned. That'll learn 'em!

Something similar happened to me early last year when I was buying about 20 metres of worktops for the kitchen/utility refit from B&Q. They weren't fitted by that stage so I phoned them and said that unless they gave me a refund I would be sending them back and rebuying. They coughed up straight away.:)

A random comment............ the ..!!!...doorbell keeps playing 'Oh Susanna'! and I'm too comfy to get up and unplug the ........thing. It's only set to 'ding dong' so WHY does it keep playing Oh Susannah' ?

Our door chimes started doing odd things and I finally tracked it down to one of next doors car remotes interfering with it. Changed the channel it used and it stopped.

Edit Ours was also set to ding dong but would play the Westminster Chimes

I keep a 25 litre drum in the boot now. I get 10 litres of oil, lob it in depositing empties in tesco's bins so as not to clutter my own recycling bin. Then its off to the forecourt where I put in 1 litre of petrol, give it a good old shake then fill up with diesel. Bung it back in the boot for a few miles to fully stir and mix then wang it in the tank. :)
