I keep a 25 litre drum in the boot now. I get 10 litres of oil, lob it in depositing empties in tesco's bins so as not to clutter my own recycling bin. Then its off to the forecourt where I put in 1 litre of petrol, give it a good old shake then fill up with diesel. Bung it back in the boot for a few miles to fully stir and mix then wang it in the tank. :)
If you can get a card, Makro usually have good deals on the 20l drums. I really should get into filtering my own, just cant face the mess.

and it takes a mixture of oil/petrol/diesel

Not worth it imo. If you do some reading, the people who have issues with how their car runs or regular breakdowns, its almost always using waste oil.

Unless your supply is very free of animal fats and water then your biodiesel will not be top notch and you'll get sludge and crap blocking all your filters and stuff.

Paying for fresh oil with PP's, APG's socks or wangling other spend and saves, accosting friends for staff discounts etc is far easier. I'll look at making bio if and when I have to.

I am considering twin tanking mine though as it'd save a fortune! :)

If you search Debs for I pad, it actually takes to to a different Debs site.

I dont really bother with putting any diesel in except when it is really cold, just oil and a bit petrol, nothing too scientific. ALthough I have fancied getting hold of a 12v baby bottle warmer to put around my fuel filter, thats meant to help.
