Did the same with a full kitchen from B&Q. They reduced it by 25 or 50% a few weeks after I had bought and fitted it, so straight in with list of what I had bought, onto the trolly, paid for, out, back in and returned. That'll learn 'em!

T/C seriously if you go to buy a gift voucher/card for someone you have to read 10,000 words and know what the recipient is wanting to spend the gift voucher on to see if it is eligible .

Really lovely photos Naebbirac. Didn't you or your OH take some of some birds on your last holiday? I remember them being really beautiful.

A little admission from me - I always type your name by starting with the C, then put the A in front and so on.... :o I don't half struggle with spelling naebbirac. :D

A good suggestion, but it's plugged into the mains.
 it's just done it again:mad:

My smoke alarm's mains powered and has been chirruping since yesterday morning, I've rang the housing place to see if they could send someone out to check it because I opened it up to see if it had a backup battery but couldn't find it or anywhere it would go. The best they could do was to put me down for a visit but they're not too sure when they'll get to me because it's not urgent, probably the end of the month  by then I think I'll have gone mad as it's really bugging me now:mad:
Still waiting on the guy to come and look at our heating, have had none downstairs for ages now but because there was heating upstairs it's not considered a priority so told them that it's now not working anywhere. We're down for a visit at the start of February, can't do it sooner because of a backlog and if they resubmitted the request it could be later in February! What's wrong, can they not just ring the contractor to say to prioritise certain ones? No too much hard work for them.
