Really is quite a small world
...but I wouldn't want to paint it
I really liked living in Bristol, I was 20, there were late night buses, taxis, bars, Park Street/Whiteladies Rd, restaurants etc - I came from a smallish town over the bridge where if you were on a 'night out' in Newport you had to catch the mail train home then walk a couple of miles across some frankly dodgy terrain from Severn Tunnel Junction :rotfl:0 -

I thought OH was a bit subdued earlier but Put it down to my moanathon about the washing. He admitted he'd had a raging toothache for a couple of days and today it had gotten to the unbearable stage. He hasn't been to a dentist since he was in the army due to anxiety and not wanting to go out. I managed to get him an appointment at the emergency dental service. They said they would see him right away which I was very impressed with.
I literally had to drag him there:( but he told me that he'd taken 10 paracetomol and 8 ibuprofen yesterday and the day before :eek: and had already had 6 of each before I got home today  so there was no choice......and I will be getting on to my dentist to register him tomorrow whether he likes it or not:o
oh no:eek: hope he is pain free now. x0 -
I wasn't going to go to boots tomorrow but feel I should make the effort. Will it be normal opening hours please?:j:j:j:j0

Maybe of interest for a sneaky 2.50 APG too, as it is still 3.50 per 500ml in Asda. Maybe wait a day or two for the msm website to update properly first! See listerine website for details, but you need to buy a total of 1 litre of Listerine total-care only and keep the receipt and bottle caps to send off later. You need to wait 21 days before sending it all or you get nowt. You also answer a few questions and then get a full refund for 1 litre. hth
Or maybe just best getting 2x the 500ml total care at A now, combined with crisps glitch that might not last. The M's 2 for £5 on the total care sensitive listerine did work for me on the APG towards the end of last month (and helped £8.80 on Sada's prices towards a £40 shop).
Definitely try it and then return for "free" - check Listerine's T&Cs, I tried very similar on the Finish Quantums - try or your money back - the T&Cs said the refund would be of the price as appearing on your receipt. Well, cost of my Finish Quantums at A was over £5 but about £3.50 at a competitor. I duly sent off the A receipt (having used the APG from it first), itself paid for with about six APG vouchers, and received my over £5 back in a cheque. It was all above board and clear from my receipt what was/wasn't paid for. In other words, I paid (after APG) about £3 and came away with £5 refund (in accordance with Finish's T&Cs the refund was the amount showing for the Finish product on my till receipt). Thus for 'trying or my money back' I got paid £2 for having them. I'll try anything at that price, even if I don't want them!0 -
fairclaire wrote: »Vanilla I had this same problem last year. Turned out to be some sort of broken valve that was supposed to shut off when the heating went off, but it wasn't shutting off....every time my hot water fired up, the heating was coming on as well:eek: kept waking up in the night sweating like pigs:rotfl: Turning the thermostat off didn't work, I had to turn the radiators when it got too hot, until I could get it fixed. Good news is it was quick and cheap:D
Thanks claire it was the noise of boiler upsetting me most.
I turned the power of to boiler then turned back on and it reset itself.
Now to see if house is warm in the morning
