Look at whooper, find its a blank receipt, screw up and throw away in disgust, go back, pick it up and throw in bin.

As I wasn't sure whether the multibuy glitches were on tonight, my £17 voucher (from my last M comparison) went on the crisps glitch vs M. Results expected just before midnight. But did I get eight diff. items?

Well... not everything went fully smoothly. My SA was a young man, who seemed at first a little surprised at the £17-odd but just scanned it and discounted the amount without question. Before then, though, he'd had a bit of trouble with the loose apple which scanned at £1.95/kg. He voided it off and then faffed around with it a bit until, it seems, he reduced the price. He may have reduced it manually - so, possibly, my loose apple won't be counted as an item when it should have been! I may be glad I put a pack of 10p Haribo on my shopping in the end.

I bought some McVities choc. digestives as I remembered seeing a post earlier today that suggested that not only was the A multibuy not being counted but they were also comparing to a lower price - 87p - at M. I may be wrong however and perhaps it was not the right competitor. I did a mix and match on them, trying to get up to the 8 diff. items, whilst keeping the shop as near within my £17 voucher as possible (not wanting to spend more in order to get it back, but rather spending less whilst still getting it back as much as possible).

But are both of the McVities varieties on MSM? I checked - after I came back home - and they seem to be. But maybe that apple will compare at the lower price I paid but the SA might have rung up the wrong variety - and hence go from my £1.00/kg to 10% off something far larger for M, so it could all glitch and go wrong... or it could glitch all the right way and leave me even better off than I planned...

It's now all in the lap of the Gods and the ways of the MSM computer as to how much my Sada shopping is costing me tonight. I've already previously done extremely well, so if they get a bit back on this then perhaps they deserve it. Or it might come in my favour again.

"Wait and see" time - perhaps everything will glitch on this: the glitchy crisps, the glitch multibuy on the digestives (2 different types, 1 of each mixed in), the minor glitch on the chorley cakes, perhaps the loose apple will now glitch (in my favour), we may find some other Haribo sweets glitch as well due to their different prices in A but the same price each at M!! We hope the second pack of Crunchy Nut (the first bought the previous time's shop) doesn't now glitch N/A this week, and finally I hope the whole thing doesn't glitch and tell me I didn't get eight items! I like this haphazard way of shopping where you don't know what's going to happen to your bill! If I do see that £2.50 Walkers price however you can guarantee a chuckle or two!!:rotfl::rotfl: (I think maybe Sada want to keep us as loyal shoppers by having us chuckling at the price comps after the shops... and thus going back to them for further shopping for whatever it is....)

Result - or lack of it (maybe 7 items!!!) - expected soon.

I didn't dare mix those crisps, stuck safely with 2 x Classic variety.
