What are the chances of the crisps still glitching tomorrow morning? I want some. I need some. LOL.
There is a chance this will still work tomorrow. I'm more optimistic that this will last into another day than when A's own multibuys aren't recognised. That type lf glitch is always very short lived
This glitch all depends on when they get around to updating Morries pricesApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -

anyone staying up tonight for the boots online sale?
I never have (not even when I was a bootsaholic:D), but I always made sure I was at the door when the store opened
Didn't bother getting up early last year. Not doing it this year either. I will however, visit a couple of stores on my way to work. Just got to decide which stores I am going to visit. I have 1/2 hour spare before work. Knowing my luck the trains will be delayed and I will have to wait until lunch time:eek:

Is anyone excited about Mr Shoes sale tomorrow? Eeeeek!
Yes!!!:D
I'm all showered and in bed already.:o
I've got to get me and a toddler ready and out the door for 7.30. I've managed to sweet talk my mate into driving us and we want to get there for 8am. Soon as we are done there we are driving to another mr shoes and hitting that one as well.I know what I want in each shop as I went out today and did some prep work.
I'm taking my longlife bags with me so I can chuck my stuff straight in them and just empty them at the tills. (So I don't have to muck around with baskets) :T
I'm seriously prepared:rotfl:

Savvy just wanted to say thanks for Morries shop you posted over th weekend...I copied it yesterday and it worked a treat x
My second reply on this, as I'm now adding an afterthought.
With my posts you often get better prices than you see on some of the suggestions on some of the wombles on here. Whilst the wombles, for example, may highlight in bold an item that is £2.00 in one place and £1.00 at a competitor (suggesting you buy at the £2 shop and compare vs the £1 competitor), I may well be suggesting a different competitor is 87p on the same item and therefore best buying vs them. Or I may not have the "£1" item at all, but instead be waiting until it reaches lower than that at a different competitor or at the competitor that currently has it at £1.
It's a combination of everything - waiting for prices to fall somewhere else, downshifting, going for cheapest price per g (although that last bit is more time-consuming, and I don't always manage to factor it in fully, as it involves checking across several competitors and different sizes that some may stock but not others, as well as seeing whether an A comparable item even with 10% lower than a competitor is still more expensive per g or not than a straight price match between S and T when one of those two is on special offer).
There are upsides and downsides, as with most things. Sometimes I fail to identify the cheapest 10p sweets fillers, because technically those sweets could be cheaper on another comparison or are not 'good value per gram' when in fact there is a glitch on and adding a very cheap item, even if you lose one penny, pays more than the minor amount that would be saved elsewhere (1p) as the glitch amounts to pounds and not pence. I think all methods need to be combined, for the cheap sweets to be used as fillers and also, elsewhere, if you need several items that compare well to one competitor, comparing to the cheapest price rather than losing here and there by putting them on a different comparison.
Sometimes those wombled receipts identify quite good comparisons on some items. But often they fail to identify that switching a brand could well find a competitor on half price, and far lower than the cheaper competitor on the wombled receipt item. Where the wombles excel is in identifying glitches that are even better than any of that.0 -
Hello, For those of you who are going to take Listerine mouthwash up on their 'try me free for 21 days offer'. Morrison's offer 2 x 500ml for 5.00. Maybe of interest for a sneaky 2.50 APG too, as it is still 3.50 per 500ml in Asda. Maybe wait a day or two for the msm website to update properly first! See listerine website for details, but you need to buy a total of 1 litre of Listerine total-care only and keep the receipt and bottle caps to send off later. You need to wait 21 days before sending it all or you get nowt. You also answer a few questions and then get a full refund for 1 litre. hthI am not young enough to know everything.0

Well I didn't spend my first night at home slaving over mount washing like I expected......I spent a good chunk of it in the emergency dental clinic:o
I thought OH was a bit subdued earlier but Put it down to my moanathon about the washing. He admitted he'd had a raging toothache for a couple of days and today it had gotten to the unbearable stage. He hasn't been to a dentist since he was in the army due to anxiety and not wanting to go out. I managed to get him an appointment at the emergency dental service. They said they would see him right away which I was very impressed with.
I literally had to drag him there:( but he told me that he'd taken 10 paracetomol and 8 ibuprofen yesterday and the day before :eek: and had already had 6 of each before I got home today  so there was no choice......and I will be getting on to my dentist to register him tomorrow whether he likes it or not:o0 -
Is anyone excited about Mr Shoes sale tomorrow? Eeeeek!
Me, been in to my local today and checked stock, loads of stuff and SAs were bringing trolleys out rammed with stuff and filling shelves up, we even had soap and glory sets, the big ones on the shelf, which I have never seen this late in January.
Hope everyone gets what they are after.
See you all tomorrow.0 -

many thanks to aau1 for posting
Many thanks for showing the crisps working.
I saw those Matlows Refreshers and Wham bars as well when doing my 'crisps shop', but avoided buying them as 10% cheaper than M's 12p price puts it slightly more than 10p, and the Wham bar was recently on 17p rollback in A, but 10% cheaper than 20p is 18p so a penny more expensive than what it used to be. I've therefore added items that (I hope) will add refund positive values, penny-pinching person that I am.0
