The original poster (AAU?) posted again after going into Morries to say they were about £4.38 in store. So its definitely a glitchThe end is nigh0 -

I mentioned it at the weekend (might not have been the only one though)
I'm glad it helped as I don't have anything very useful to say most of the time.

I thought my cats were out all day. They hate having strangers in the house. DD found them in her bedroom. One was in her wardrobe and the other was in her draw under her bed. LOL. As soon as kitchen man left, they both came downstairs. I have very scaredy cats:D kitchen is looking good. Can't wait for it to be finished
here's a couple of cat pics............0 -

Think the timer is broken as boiler is firing up all the time and heating should have gone off at 8pm. Don't want to turn boiler off incase I can't get it alight again.
Having its annual service on fridayso will just have to wait til then.
Atleast i am not cold:rotfl:

Vanilla I had this same problem last year. Turned out to be some sort of broken valve that was supposed to shut off when the heating went off, but it wasn't shutting off....every time my hot water fired up, the heating was coming on as well:eek: kept waking up in the night sweating like pigs:rotfl: Turning the thermostat off didn't work, I had to turn the radiators when it got too hot, until I could get it fixed. Good news is it was quick and cheap:D0
