For once I am not grumpy, I've just had a very sad couple of days, so I haven't posted anything. I had to go to the funeral of a good friend yesterday who died at the age of 47, a week before Christmas. It seems that he was misdiagnosed after a car accident a couple of years ago which eventually resulted in him having a massive heart attack.
I knew a week before the funeral that he had died and I had been fine with it. However, when I actually sat down in the church, it hit me, very hard. When I saw all the slides of him and his family on the ohp and realised that neither they, nor I were ever going to see him again, I couldn’t control myself and the waterworks started. I had gone to the church completely unprepared, without tissues or anything to keep my dignity intact, just the back of my hand, which after a short time wasn’t really enough.
Anyway, a moral I can take from this (albeit a bit too late)..
Don’t lose touch with good friends, as although with great friends you can always catch up the next time you see them as if you had never been apart, sometimes fate kicks in and you never get the opportunity.:(:(

Evening Everyone,
I dont know if this will be of use to anyone but my son works for this firm

Hope you are all well and enjoying the weekend. Myself and other half are still still suffering witha nasty cold. Small fry to most of you

£40 yes. I will give some of it to sight savers international and smile train. These are the charities I support when I can.
Star is great, hurt her back leg jumping on back sofa to bark out the window. However she was getting bit porky after joining us in stuffing our faces over Xmas. Weight was not helping so she on a diet with me now. Thanks for asking. She flat out sleep after her two daily walks, playtime and dinner. Of course lots barking too, as jack Russell's do! It's is time for booster and pet insurance this time year......SIMPLES!0 -

Maybe they'll have a better night, I have made sure they've both emptied themselves after dinner so will be locking the kitchen door tonight to see if that helps them. Other than sleeping in the kitchen with them I don't know what else I can do.

sorry for your loss sfcb...totally agree with the sentiment of not relying on the fact that those friends you haven't seen for a while will always be there when you can make time. hugs xxx0
