I do wonder why they were allowed to come on here.

After all, Martin never allowed the banks to come on here and defend them self's when he was complaining ageist them for there bad treatment of customers,

We can only hope that MP's from a from all party's don't just stop at talking and debating, Lets hope that something will get done.

What ever happens its too late for the people that have had there benefits stopped and have since died, But we can only hope that others will get more fair treatment.

As I said In one of my other posts they are only answering questions that you can find the answer too on there own web site or the web site of the DWP.

Citizens Advice Scotland are calling on the government to rule on whether a publicly-funded agency should be able to shut down public debate on its poor performance.

ATOS Healthcare is the company responsible for assessing whether sick and disabled people should receive the Employment and Support Allowance (ESA). They have been shown to be making huge numbers of flawed decisions however, causing misery for thousands of vulnerable people. And now they have moved to close down public criticism of their record by issuing libel threats against websites which host forums for people who report their negative experiences.

CAS Chief Executive Lucy McTernan said,

“Scottish CABs have heard from thousands of sick and disabled people who have been unhappy with the treatment they received from ATOS. Their assessment system has been shown to be deeply flawed right from the start and the evidence for this is overwhelming. Over a third of all appeals made against ATOS decisions are successful. And every decision they get wrong causes unnecessary distress to people who are severely sick and disabled.

Atos Healthcare, the company employed by the UK Department of Work and Pensions to decide who is entitled to employment support allowance, is moving to shut down websites, forums and online support groups that criticise its assessment process.

Atos’ Healthcare arm uses an automated system – the company’s own Logic Integrated Medical Assessment (LiMA) software – to help doctors and nurses assess claimants. The healthcare professional fills in a digital questionnaire on LiMA on behalf of the patient by choosing keywords and statements from a list and then justifying them.

The software has been widely criticised in blogs, on social networks, and in support forums. A group known as the Black Triangle, which campaigns for disability rights, is now calling for Atos to be removed from the DWP contract.

Specific to the above post, and given that this is a 'cluttered' board you may have missed my question yesterday, which was :

Your own application process requires a minimum of RGN with three years or more post registration experience. Atos Healthcare declare a team of more than 2500, 1900 of whom are are qualified medical professionals.

- What % of the 76% who are qualified to carry out WCA's work on the front line and actually carry out WCA's on a day to day basis .. .. interacting directly with 'customers' ? and ;

- What % of the 76% who are qualified to carry out WCA's work on the front line and actually carry out WCA's on a day to day basis interacting directly with 'customers' .. .. are registered as 'doctors' ?
