Oh so there is one of you out there, my report was also full of lies, this is happening regularly, why can't you as a rep answer why this is happening and why your assesssors do this, it must be embarrassing for you.

    Hi bradzki

If something about your assessment wasn’t done how it should have been we want to look into it. As I said to you before, if you contact us directly we can properly investigate and address specifically any issues.

Because they get paid to make sure you fail your assessment.

It's because Atos are given targets from the DWP to fail X number of claimants.
  • Hi
I have been advised that when completing the ESA50 that a weekly diary would help with the assessment. Is is this correct?
    Thanks

    ATOS REP,

You didn't answer my question so I ask you again,

    ATOS REP,

A very troubling comment from another thread on here see below for reference.

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4557105

And in particular this quote from that thread as below.
Things that are noted are :-
Did you complete the form yourself
    Is the handwriting legible
    Are the contents coherent.

These observations are already used in assessing your hand function, your cognitive state and concentration.

Is this the policy of ATOS to take the above quoted practices into consideration as stated in that thread?

    Thank you
    John

I'm not bothered about my assessment I beat your disgraceful system, the DWP overturned Atos's decision which was not to give me any points after my assessment and stating I was fit for work. DWP were that embarrassed by the assessors report after checking my supporting medical documentation and could clearly see I was unfit for work and eight months later I am still unable to work and awarded me ESA, I didn't even need to appeal.

My question is why do your assessors lie and embarrass you in this way.

Thanks Darkfallout, so all I'd need to prove at the tribunal is that I black out and have seizures that cannot be treated and that I am at risk of personal injury. That couldn't be easier, my face is a mangled mess from seizures and blackouts :-)
Yaaay, I finally conned a man into making a honest woman of me. Even more shocking is that I can put the words "Happily" and "Married" into the same sentence and not have life insurance on my mind when I say it ;-)

    Hi Telly1234

Anything that you feel helps to demonstrate how your medical conditions affect you day to day, and how days might be different from each other, will be useful.

    Hi John

When assessing an individual’s function, we use information from the medical history, their account of a “typical day”, any relevant physical examination and observations made during the assessment. However a single piece of information should not be used in isolation – there has to be sufficient surrounding and supporting detail for it to be useful. So, while it is correct that an individual’s ability - or otherwise - to complete a relatively complex form such as an ESA50 may give useful information about some areas of their function, this information should be balanced against other details from the medical history, typical day, examination findings and observations.

Before jumping to conclusions regarding a person's ability to fill out an ESA50 I would hope that the so called "healthcare professional" would establish some facts surrounding who filled out the form!

Or is establishing facts too much to ask!
