    Q2
Are you saying that if they do not have enough information they 'WILL' seek more information from the claimants GP?
You have only answered part of this question and in doing that you haven't answered exactly what I asked.

    You said
Atos Healthcare will attempt to obtain information from a GP in cases where a healthcare professional feels advice could be provided to the Department for Work and Pensions without the need for a face to face assessment. This is particularly the case for those with the most disabling conditions which may potentially place them in the Support Group for Employment and Support Allowance.
Can you answer both of my question in more detail please

    Hi everyone

I'm going to try to answer a few points raised in the last week

Muttleythefrog - I agree with you, it could be a PR exercise, we can't know for sure, (and I hadn't seen that link to the atos page before so thank you to the person who posted that).

What I do know is, at least one person on this thread has thanked atos and said its response has been helpful.

We can't be sure if we hadn't allowed the thread that person would have found the answer they were looking for. Maybe they would have, maybe they wouldn't but it does mean one person has been helped.

There's no obligation to post on this thread, there are many other threads where forum users have been able to help others without Atos' responses.

Where this thread could be useful, is if anyone going through the atos process is told something different they can point to what Atos itself has said on this thread.

    Hello Andrea .

In response to your post I would like to pick up on the following if I may .

Atos have been posting since the 10th January . The thread is 68 pages long with over 1300 posts and yet Atos have helped one just one person in the hundred and forty something replies ? Many have been either contact us via the link or answers easily found on their own Q & A site .

The majority of posters on here have first hand experience of how Atos HCP s manipulate and in some cases deliberately omit crucial information regarding a claimant .

If this is a PR exercise and I quote you stated " We can't be sure " Why allow Atos to continue to post , and secondly allow them to post the only link on their blog to MSE .

I doubt for a second that MSE are colluding in any way with Atos, but one wonders if they're taking the proverbial .
    Never tell .

    Dear Atos Rep,

Why Is The Atos Website Using MSE (WITHOUT THEIR PERMISSION!!) As An Advertising Tool To Promote Your Work?.

The ADVERTISING STANDARDS AUTHORITY Have Already, In The Past, Found Atos GUILTY Of Multiple Breaches Of The Advertising Code Of Practice!!

Why Does Your Company Continue To Flout These Regulations?

Atos Rep, can you please tell me who holds responsibility and liability for severely autistic people who lash out aggressively when forced into public spaces where they cannot cope with change? Can you confirm that forcing these severely autistic people out of their comfort zone to work will result in them unfairly being sectioned, or imprisoned under the mental heath act due to your insistence that they must work and come into contact with other people? Thank you

    Hi ebsay

We sought and were given permission by MSE to post on the forum before we said on our blog we were going to. Those who read our blog to find out information about the WCA process might also find it useful to know that we are on MSE.
    Official Company Representative
I am the official company representative of Atos Healthcare. MSE has given permission for me to post in response to queries about the company, so that I can help solve issues. You can see my name on the companies with permission to post list. I am not allowed to tout for business at all. If you believe I am please report it to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com This does NOT imply any form of approval of my company or its products by MSE"

    Hi halight,

this question isn’t within the remit of this thread.

As A tax payer I would like to know if you pay UK Tax on your profits ?

    Its a simple question .

The tax payers are paying for the service that you Give. They are paying for the medicals. This thread is about the medicals. So I believe that the question Dose fit in here.

If you have nothing to hide. If you pay your fair amount of tax that is due To the UK then whats the Problem with telling us ?

Unless you avoid Tax like other big company's.
