Sloblady thread

my ironing pile has decreased dramatically - not because i have ironed it - but i have had to wear it as the washing machine died 2 weeks ago and the new one wont be here till wednesday - then i will have to pull my finger out an do the mounds of laundry that are reaching epic proportions.

The surveyor came on Friday. I explained that I was in the middle of a big clear out and had set up the spare room for decluttering. I had put everything from all the other rooms in there. She commented that a spare room means you can keep the rest of your house tidy and just shut the door on it.

Own up. Which one of you is the surveyor?

Sitting here in my coat and boots as I was supposed to leave the house 15 mins ago but found this thread. Please, please help me, I'm a refugee from that other place - you know, the one where they're all perfect/ I'm not, I want to be here! I've found my place in life! Have to run...well meander as I'm going to be late now anyway but as the man said, I'll be back. Soon as I can. Thank you

Here's a tip: if there's any danger that I might have to do the washing-up myself I hide any really greasy pans in the oven and then bring them out and leave them on the stovetop for my OH next time he's washing-up.

was totally going to do the dishes in a mo - totally going to use this tip as it is in fact his turn (has been since saturday now)....

Oh Dear found my way here as think I must own up to this sadly

A friend of mine stopped off at my house on her way to taking her elderly mum out.
The old lady was looking out of my kitchen window and said lovely views of the hills from here.
I didn't say anything thing as I thought poor old dears eyes must be bad.As I have no hills here as we are in Norfolk !
When they left I looked out of the window to see if I could see what she had seen.:eek::eek::eek:
Shock horror when I realised it was fly spray that I had sprayed sometime in the summer and it had got on the window and looked like the Alps :eek::eek::eek: So bad honestly cant believe I hadn't noticed it :rotfl:

So do I fit the type of lady Who belongs on this thread (As btw its still there) :rotfl:

Mmmm Fruball mine was raid too But I have made a very weak attempt to clean it off with a babywipe.So now looks like the Himalayas :rotfl:Now just waiting for the Sherpa to arrive :rotfl:
