I am 53, I spent the whole morning and part of the afternoon in bed with oh playing beat the intro, had a shower, ran him to work, stopping for sarnies and coffee on the way, came home (ironed #1 sons trousers, sorry) ran him to work, spent too much in B & M and Home Bargains, shared large portion of chip shop chips with the 16 year old for tea, will feed dogs and put shopping away in a min, then got to pick OH up from work at 21.45, and #1 son around midnight....
Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.

I have moved!..however it turns out that doing this isn't going to have been the best idea i've ever had. Have been to shops for food, thrown lots into the slow cooker, but wasn't thinking about the time and it now means I need to stay up until at least midnight to take it out, portion it and fight for space in the freezer for it. May have to set an alarm as for some reason very tired today. Bad idea as have to be up and ready for 10AM tomorrow.
Yep...still at it, working out how to retire early.:D....... Going to have to rethink that scenario as have been screwed over by the company. A work in progress.

I am really tempted to get a one off cleaning team in here and tell them I am not the homeowner but a caring friend who has seen the house deteriorate due to the owners depression/hard times.

I would say that my friend has gone away for an operation and I had keys so thought I would help her out by getting the house orderly by the time she got back, you know, to help with her recuperation...

    What do we think? Goer?

(I did once tell someone that serviced the boiler that this was not my house and that I was letting him in as a favour for a friend. Makes life much easier not having to explain more than that :D )

When I got my new oven, I told the blokes delivering it I was just renting the place, but tbh they said they'd seen a lot worse:eek::eek::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

  • Fell off the wagon, almost.

The closet needed tidying. So I combined three bags of stuff into one.

It's amazing how much extra space I now appear to have!

Those space storage bags are brilliant. You shove all your extra clothes and bedding in one and vacuum the air out. Its amazing how much space you get back. Ive got all my extra sleeping bags/bedding in one for the caravan and its stuffed under my bed.
