Excellent news. Didn't need to clean the car, just "tidy" it - as part of the service it got a free valet!

Was listening to Craig Charles (Lister in Red Dwarf, a true male sloblady) on radio last night. Apparently if you spray a dustpan with furniture polish, the dust stays in the dustpan.
It is so WRONG that Lister knows this.
Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.

    Pace yourself!!

I load up the dishwasher over several days. When I run out of knives, I have to turn it on!

When i fry the usual sausage, bacon and eggs etc on weekend for my men hubby cant understand why i dont use any oil in the pan.

I tell him its because i am looking after his and our sons heart but really i cant abide the fat splatter that covers the cooker.

Maybe i ought to explain. If you cook the sausage slow enough, the bacon and egg will cook in the fat out of the sausage.:D

Has anyone mentioned UFYH on this thread yet? Its the perfect antidote to flylady imo. If you are sensitive to words then don't google, but otherwise its equal parts motivating, satisfying and disgusting!

There's two of us, a dinner set for 8 and a dishwasher which takes most dishes (not pans, they're being switched for dishwasher safe ones), why would I turn the machine on more than once a week or so?

I do like my dirty cupboard, it keeps my sides clean.

I am a true slot lady I am sure, but I can't think of any examples... I must be failing!

We have workmen in a lot and so I tend to ignore mess quite a bit, once it's "perfect" I will clean it to sparkling, for now it's hygienic and that's all that matters (without the lodger I'm not sure it'd be so hygienic.... He guilts me into cleaning :rotfl:)

I particularly like the end photo with the shift cats.

My cats were more bothered by a clean house than a messy one! I trained them well
