    Hey all,

Loving all your fantastic makes! Will have a proper catch up soon, just rushing to get everything done for the wedding. We leave on Saturday

I've finished the flowergirls' things so I'm up to 3/13 complete :T I sewed a ribbon sash onto their dresses and made wrist corsages for the older girls and a head band for the baby. Unfortunately I forgot to take a pic of the dresses before I dropped them off but here are the other things :)

    3) Birth sampler - baby due early May
    4) Finish blackwork angel
    5) Mum's christmas stitch

    13) Place cards, escort cards and display board

Tomorrow at lunch I will be writing names on place cards to finish them off, oh joy! I also need to print out the signs before I finish on Friday. The display board will most likely have to wait until we get back but hopefully at least two more things will be ticked off the list!

Planning to take the materials for the birth sampler away with me, if I have the right threads! I'm so looking forward to doing some crafting that isn't wedding related :rotfl:

Hi - I have just come across your thread and wondered if its too late to join? I am one of those crafters who likes to dabble in a number of different crafts and seem to have many projects permanently on the go. In 2013 I want to make:-
    1. Dr Who cushion
    2. Christmas cross stitch sampler (started pre christmas 2012!)
    3. White log cabin patchwork cushion
    4. Christmas cards
    5. Birthday cards for the family
    6. 10 waiters aprons for work
    7. Patchwork cushion for cousin
    8. Patchwork cushion for brother - completed march 2013
    9. Patchwork throw for lounge
    10. 5 sets of five handmade cards for christmas presents
    Projects 11 - 13 to be decided.

Your pictures are so inspirational - I am hoping that this thread keeps me focussed. My ultimate aim is to be christmas neutral - make all my own presents from my stash!

  • Welcome ninno, your list sounds fab, I wish I could be Xmas neutral but there are many on my list who just wouldnt appreciate the effort that goes into making things :-(

Been out this afternoon and brought everything for curtains for Dd room! First attempt at curtains as well!

I know what you mean! Over the past few years I have reduced my present list down to immeadiate family and a few friends. My family appreciate the effort - as do some friends - but there are a few who look down on homemade. Hence my stash of homemade cards - I figure that everyone appreciates having a card stash in that they can use and, perhaps, take credit for.

Anyhow - enough procrastinating - I am off to get the machine out and start on the first two aprons - a sinple design but they are acting as the prototypes. I dont have the ties yet but can make up the aprons easily enough.
