  • Thank you Julie, quilting scared me before I started it seemed such a big task, but flowerofscotland is brilliant with help and advice and I found some brilliant tutorials on you tube (if you want me to post a link let me know) and it really want as bad as I thought and I loved it! So give it a go think my next one is going to be single bed size but I want it to hang to the floor !

Carlamaria - thinking of you today. Thank you for the comments regarding my knitting. As far as knitting goes it's like everything else the more you do the easier it becomes. My mum taught me to knit and sometimes when I'm doing a complicated pattern I struggle because I can't ask her advice about how to do a certain stitch. With the jumper for my great nephew their was a stitch I couldn't understand and youtube was brilliant. So if you are knitting and get stuck I'm sure there will be a tutorial online somewhere that will help.

Julie - , looking forward to seeing your makes. I love the sound of Project Baby Bump.

Maria - I found Pinterest the other day (Chicky recommended it). Don't really understand how it works but I agree that it does zap the time, I ended going off at major tangents to the one I was looking for.

Welcome aboard julie, I have added you to the list of participants.
And I have updated everyone, I think, but please do check the second post of the thread to make sure I haven't missed you out :D

Thank you to whoever asked about my treatment yesterday, it went fine and was done in 2 hours or so, it seem there was a mix up with my prescription originally, where the first lot of drugs was going in over 3 hours instead of 1, and the second lot were going in over 1 hour instead of 30 mins, which also made the flushes longer than they needed to be, but touvh wood all that is fixed now! They messed up one of my other pre-meds too, had it down as to be taken oprally when it should have gone through my picc line. Oh well, all is fixed now, I hope lol :rotfl:

Thank you for the warm welcome all.
Maria the link would be great, I shall have a look at Pinterest today but as Ailsb said I never quite understand how it works:eek:
soulie thanks for adding me, and glad your treatment is going well. Hope you feel well over Easter.
I managed just five rows on my blanket last night before I conked out but am looking forward to getting on today. Just a small matter of cleaning and cooking first, but I always whizz through that when I have a new project on the go:D
    Happy Easter Saturday all x
