Fabulous sewing folder Maria it will make a lovely mothers day gift and then she'll get to enjoy it while on holiday this year as well. Plenty of time to do something else for Christmas.

    2 - Decorate cupcake - tealight holders
3 - Decorate porcelin items (cups, plates, dishes - As DD helping keep it as one)
    4 - Knit myself a cardigan
    5 - Crochet - 2 blankets for dogs home
6 - Set up mini sewing machine and make something small
7 - Try a pattern from crochet book

I'll add some more when I can think xx

  • Sweetcarer the Calenders look fab!

Maria- wow, it looks brill and so useful, what a lovely idea. Might have to pick your brains at a later date as I would love to make myself one, have you thought of making them to sell? and the stitcher can personalise it themselves perhaps... Can you tell I can't sew, lol. Did it take long to make? Anyway it looks beautiful and I'm sure it will be very appreciated.

Can't remember if I said but I finished stitching card for mothers day yesterday and will take some piccies. Feel free to remind me, I had ample op today and just didn't enter my mind.

I made two cushions tonight using my friends old tshirts! They were ones for bands that don't fit anymore.

Nothing too hard in it, but it's something I've said I would do but never got round too. Feeling quite chuffed :)

Can't think of anything smart to put here...

Maria, the sewing keeper is beautiful, I'm sure your mum will love it, especially as you made it for her. Thanks for the pics x

Well done to Ailsb, subtle_minx and zepsgal for finishing a project, looking forward to seeing more pics.

I'm not making much headway with my projects yet:o I've had a busy week as my PC died on me but all sorted now so hopefully I can get going next week. My fingers are getting twitchy reading all the posts :D
:) The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time :)
  • I'm new here, hi everyone :)
I'm not sure if I'm doing this right, so sorry for any mistakes :o

The 13 projects in 2013 sounds like a great idea.
I've been learning to knit & crochet so my list of projects will include them.

I'll have a look through the goodies I had for christmas and get back to you with my 'to do' list.
