Lovely makes everyone, love the calendars and sewing companion.

Thanks Spoon...didn't get much sewing done this weekend as I have been working to sort out all my receipts to fill in my first tax return...been a bit scary and have been putting it off, but nearly there. :o I now have lots of spreadsheets with details of total household monthly spends and separate ones with the company spends and incomings...much more out than in, so need to work from my stock more this next year!!! I had made a start with all this ages ago, but let things slip a while back. I have all my receipts, so it has just been a slog to work through them all.

My Bernina is a 230 Patchwork Edition, so came with a walking foot, darning foot, quarter inch foot (two!) and embroidery foot...lovely! It is beautiful and in near pristine condition, I am soo lucky!! Planning on having a go with twin needle quilting tomorrow...wish me luck!!!

Have a productive week everyone x

Would love to hear how you got on with the twin needle quilting - pictures would be even better :D
  • sweetcarer The calendars are lovely

Maria Sewing companion is wonderful - I bet you can't wait to see your Mum's face when you present it to her

Mrsmp Love the trotters and the butterfly is beautiful

chicky The capes look great - your boys won't be studying the neatness of the seams

Welcome to all the newbies. The owner of this thread can't update the first post at the moment but I'm sure she will when she can so don't feel ignored.

It will be wonderful to see such a variety of crafts and goodies made during 2013

This is my first (almost completed) project

All the cross stitching is done but there is snowflake button to be added which I want to do on 31 1 13 so I can date it then. It's a Bent Creek design called Snowflakes and was really quick and easy to do

  • Hi everyone, I popped on to join you all last week with my list of 13! Am pleased to say number 2/13 is now underway - a lovely chunky knitted shawl which will be a gift for my aunt. I have also had a wool delivery so am all set now to start on my own 'feeling dotty' blanket which will be just for me....yay!!!

Well done everyone on your projects - it's lovely to see photos of all your gorgeous finished pieces, very inspiring :)

What's a "feeling dotty" blanket? Is it a particular design?

Have decided that the pattern I have for my re-knit of a cardie is no longer to my liking. Will have to have a rethink.
