regarding tampons/st's. Lidls tampons (like lilets) are very good & quite cheap. About 88p for 80. I have not tried a mooncup yet.

Right I have had a really good think about this and I agree with every one about Tampons etc but what get's my goat is Tea and Coffee in cafe's I really can't understand the mother's who after dropping their kids off at school then go to the cafe and spend £1 odd on a tea or coffee they could make at home for pennies!!!!!!!!!! I just refuse to pay that sort of money!!DEBT FREE 23/FEB/07 TWO YEAR's!! £2 £1020.00 Banked New total £268+ and counting SAVINGS 3000.00- ISA £30. :j0

I refuse to pay for:
Withdrawing my own hard-earned cash from an ATM
Ready meals (unless they're the best/finest & heavily reduced!)
Parking - I'll park further away & walk or get the bus somewhere rather than pay parking!
To get into a bar/club etc - why should I pay £5/10 to get in somewhere where the drinks are already overpriced???
Stuff I'm a bit hmmmm on:
Council tax - I love my libraries, appreciate the rubbish & recycling collection, and all the roads in Pompey are being resurfaced, so although it's an annoying bill each month, at least I can see it's usefulness.
TV license - I think it's good that we have TV & radio channels without any advertising, and that their programming & news reporting agenda is not dictated to by advertisers or the media moguls.Total Debt 13th Sept 2006 (exc student loan): £6240.06

I agree with Storm!
I hate:
Paying to take my own money out of the cashpoint.
Paying for Parking when I'm only going to be 10 mins!
Paying for a seat on the train and then having to stand.
Grrrr! it's just not fair!!Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -
I hate paying for:
Car Tax- why when we pay so much tax on fuel? Scrap car tax and use fuel duty to tax people with the big engines who use the roads most.
Toilet roll- Use the Sun. It's the same quality of journalism as Andrex and quite absorbent. But the wife doesn't let me.
The wifes bras- Yes, I agree. They cost a fortune! I don't think I've spent any less than £36 on one in the last five years. And then when I spend so much on the packaging she refuses to let me sample the contents!
I refuse to pay for:
Branded food- Own brand stuff is just the same and half the price.
Pre packed veg- Buying the loose stuff saves money, even in supermarkets, and you get to choose the best items.
I suggested the mooncup to the wife. Her reaction was unprintable!Pardonez mois, mais votre cheval est dans mon cochon d'inde.

Ok I missed off what I loathe (hate isn't extreme enough)
The rich corporations making money out of the poor or clueless ie,
-paying to withdraw money
-paying a fortune for credit card cheques
-shops that pay cash for post dated cheques and charge 10%
-loan sharks
-salesmen who try hard to sell you life insurance, loan insurance on cards or other debts so you end up getting further into debt.
Anyone who has some scam that makes them richer and the poor poorer type thing.Debt Free - done
Mortgage Free - done

I agree with women sanitary, that should be vat free.
I hate parking fees
I wouldnt dream of buying bottled water thats just mad.
I hate tv licence (put adverts on bbc)
Now this one really bugs me, paying tax on savings when u have already paid it once on your wages.0 -
Sorry but I'm about to have a rant on this one - please feel free to scroll past/get a cuppa/take the dog for walk etc etc to avoid my post!
The one thing that gets my goat when i'm shopping in Tesco's - and I seem to notice it more and more - is the cost of food and the lack of quality.
Is it me or is some stuff has gone up quite a bit recently - like their tins of tomatoes which were about 12p and are now something like 20p?
Also I wanted to make something with red peppers in - picked up a value bag for £1.50 and the state of the veg inside was dismal. The non Value stuff wasn't much better either...
How can they justify prices saying Class 1 on the labels?
Voted with my car and went to Lidls instead......and not only brought my friut veg and shopping there, also got some herb and veg seeds to start growing my own!
And if I was nearer Cardiff market, I'd be shopping there instead!
But the city centre parking is 50p for 15 minutes:eek:
:T
Ok peeps rant over..............and breathe!

I hate paying income tax that then goes towards paying for people like my sisters lazy !!!! boyfriend to sit on his !!!! all day and get a nice cushty life and £18k car on benefits when I'm working my own !!!! off all hours gods sends and barely have 2 pence to rub together.
I refuse to spend any money in Tesco's...they're corporate no gooders with no thought for the environment or in fact anything or anybody but their own pockets. I try and make sure I use the local grocery stores as much as possible...keep the small shop owners ticking over!Debt Free At Last! :T0 -

What we need is a female version of Martin who is prepared to kick this off. (Sorry, won't be me as I am past all that business, but it did annoy me for several decades  ).
One of us should lobby our MP's (they do want our votes after all next week) and set up a petition on the No10 website campagining for this. We should start with Wales, after all they have seen sense and abolished prescription charges :jYou're not your * could have not of * Debt not dept *0
