What do you refuse/hate spending money on?

Options
Thought this might be an interesting thread :) I'll go first:

I hate spending money on:
- petrol - now I dont own a car, but when i'm at home and using mum's petrol is a nightmare! (and insurance and tax as well!)
- prescriptions - now I know these are necessities, but still annoying!
- underwear! - lol why spend £20 on a pair of knickers when asda do a nice pack for abot £2 :p

Things I refuse to spend on:
- a new mobile phone every few months - i have a few friends who buy new phones every couple of months. WHY?! seems mad to me
- Sky tv (or any kind of able tv) - I hardly watch tv, so the four channels is good for me. My mum has Freeview, so at least that's free after the initial fee! Why spend lots every month on something you can get for free?
- gadgets - I have an iPod, but only coz it was a christmas present. I NEVER buy gadgets... e.g. portable dvd player - why?

Lol what do you hate/refuse to spend money on?

  • Bottled water - if I'm going to buy a drink, it's certainly not going to be something I can get from a tap or the office water cooler...

I hate buying.... fruit and veg at the supermarket. Because it's SO much cheaper at the market - but the market is only there twice a week and I'm so disorganised I often miss it.

Needed leeks this week: paid £1.99 for three in the supermarket, of course they're five for a pound in the market.

I hate spending money on stationary - pens, envelopes for posting e bay stuff etc. I know that I get some benefit from being able to send the item I have got money for, but it just seems so....pointless!!

I also hate spending money on getting my shoes re-heeled. I'm sure at some point it would have been more cost effective to buy a new pair.

AND I hate spending money on fizzy drinks when squash goes so much further.

I refuse to spend money on ready made meals. Such a waste of money.
I have had many Light Bulb Moments. The trouble is someone keeps turning the bulb off :o
