Quick update. DD and leaving cert is going ok she only has two more to go, chemistry next tues afternoon and music on thursday, so I'll be glad when all the paper books etc etc can finally find new homes. (kitchen table. hallway, conservatory floor etc etc) :rotfl: Car may have another problem could be a big one but wont know for a few days, so fingers crossed. Have been making minimum payments and trying to get a few bob put by for savings, always a difficult one, as they say not to have savings whilst you have debt, but budgeting doesnt include things that go wrong, ie car exp and school trips etc, so I think having a few euro in an account for emergencies is a must.
We managed to pay the college deposit, and DD will be back in work once the exams are over and will be saving like mad again.

A bit windy here this morning has rained but seems ok now. DD has finished her leaving cert thank god. All done now just waiting results which are due in August. She's working today so hopefully will get some more hours all going towards college. DS1 is with the girlfriend and her family today. DH is golfing so its just me and DS2 who is currently watching a film I recorded yesterday for him. I feel full of cold at the mo and a bit sorry for myself. Nevermind will do some number crunching and a bit of slobbing around for the morning. Hope the weather is nice with you all folks.Visa £[STRIKE]5063 [/STRIKE]now 0. Feeling a bit better this morning just waking with a headache now so it must be going. DS2 dispatched already for his school trip he's of to Clere Island where they are going kayaking and swimming etc they get lunch on the island and he's taken more (just in case), he wont be back until 7 so quite a long day really. DS1 still in bed DD worked yesterday and is off with the bf later so another taxi job for me. Hope to get some weeding done in the polytunnel, theres lots of midgies out at the mo so I will wait a bit, looks like it might be a nice day though. Really warm already and its only 8.30am ahhhh probably another melting day. Our oldest chicken has died in the night, a white sussex who is probably around 8yrs old bless, I think thats quite old in the chicken world. Im not going to replace her just yet as we have quite enough animals that need looking after and as we intend going to the uk for xmas think less is better for anyone having to look after them.
Plans for today include shopping and dropping DD off for a bus to meet the bf, he's been to London on a scouting camping thingy (should add hes a scout leader in case you think he's in short pants):rotfl:She has missed him and shes working from Friday for a few days so I said Id drop her at the bus. Anyone know anything about these contraceptive patches, hers seem to be making he feel quite sick, is that likely to settle down or does she need to change to something else. I couldnt believe the choice these kids have now Bars under the skin, patches, injections etc, think Im getting old:rotfl:Have a good day peeps sun is out again.Visa £[STRIKE]5063 [/STRIKE]now 0. Sorry havent been around for a while folks. Lots of news. Firstly DD did really well in her leaving cert and has got a place in Limerick. Deposit paid and we have half the accom paid too. She is still awaiting her confirmation on her grant but apparently this comes once youre registered (wish Id known as have been pretty stressed out about it). So she has been up for two days this week and starts properly on Monday. DS1 has been back for a couple of weeks now and starts 5th year, a bit of a shock to the system after such a wonderful transition yr last. DS2 is just not happy to be back but will get over it.
On a pesonal level life has been very difficult the past couple of months DH had a really quiet spell and took to drinking quite heavily which has been a real burden on all of us. Things came to a head last weekend and with college etc and my dad unwell I caved and asked him to either stop or leave. So Im pleased to say he has seen the light and agreed to stop, this was more of a habit than and addiction and I hope the stress and upset of the past couple of months are now behind me. Promise to post more peeps.Visa £[STRIKE]5063 [/STRIKE]now 0. Loan 1 €[STRIKE]4885[/STRIKE] now 0. Loan 2 €29,590 now €0 as of 22/02/2016 Mgage €55000/ €23,639 at 01/02/18
