GI so sorry everything is so bad for you and yours right now - as you say at least it's all being taken seriously if they're sending someone around from the MH team. Mental illness is an awful thing, I know from personal experience, but for me the difference was I was telling DH what was going on ..... rather than doing things very out of character that no one else knew about. You sound very strong but make sure there is someone you can talk to actually face to face as well as on here!
Just got in from a lovely walk with Pip which I mapped on Mapmydogwalk on my iPhone - 4.96 miles :T! I got slower at the end and did ask myself why I went quite so far at such a pace (did it in an hour and a quarter) but it's done me good. Just off for a shower as feel a bit hot and bothered! Flying wise .... um, nothing but hey, got to make the most of the sunshineFlymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -
GI - I hope the meeting at the CAB gives you a way forward that is acceptable to you both.
Bossymoo - Thinking of you and your little ones today
I've changed the bunk beds. This is a frog to me as I have found it difficult since I broke my hand 2 years ago.
All the washing has been taken off the maiden and folded and rehomed.
I've gone through the house returning misplaced items to their homes. This seems to be a never ending task.
Ironing mountaing to be attempted later.0 -
I've been and had my bits jiggled (don't ask :rotfl:). DS3 home from playgroup so seems happy enough to watch a movie. Think i'll go make a start in the kitchen.
GI big hugs xx“Life is short, live it. Love is rare, grab it. Anger is bad, dump it. Fear is awful, face it. Memories are sweet, cherish it.”0 -
GI big hugs for you and your family. It's often easier to open up to strangers so understand why you did. I hope you find a way forward.
Been with friends all day so time to take my boots off and clean the bathroom. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
nicki~ why don't you visit the local fire station and ask them if they still do alarm free of charge, or ring your local council as they may have a scheme.
General stuff done

Coping vibes to GI and a (((hug))).
Mrs MP: I'd say 'good' about your Dad, but that wouldn't be right. At least if they've worked out what it is, they can start to treat and manage his health.
Have put OH on the train to (eventually) Norfolk, and am busying moving all of the things that are in the wrong places back to where they should be. The house is already looking a lot better, having been grounded over the festive period - volcanic ash, icy runways, thick fog and no instruments on the flight deck. WM and TD still churning through the backlog, dog on the blink again, carpets and bedding scrubbed and rewashed. Off to clean windows and wipe down finger marks on paintwork before I tackle floors and the shower room, which somehow, unaccountably, didn't get done yesterday. :whistle:Better is good enough.0 -

Today's a bit off list but should include:
- checking site to see why tax office sent me a return reminder when as far as I recall they already told me I didn't need to do one this year
- email about some freelance work
- tackle paperwork piles in kitchen
- go through single sock basket and marry a few pairs off
Not going to be too ambitious or I'll end up feeling too guilty.......
Plans, what plans?
- checked tax site and I must have mis-remembered them telling me I didn't need to do a form. Now doing a tax return is added to my list.
- emailed about the work and got quick reply needing me to follow up and generally rush around (virtually) making other enquiries. Possibly a positive outcome, but took more time than I planned.
- I did put the WM on in the meantime
- tackled a bit of a paperwork pile in the kitchen - though study now covered in tax paperwork. Sigh.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
Bossy Have been thinking of you and your family today x
Good Intentions massive hugs x

LW Glad you have another doggy visitor. Hope plumbers are quick tomorrow.
I have banked kids money. Been to my course, I thought this was the last week but it isn't. Collected OH meds, ordered DS2 meds. Put more stuff on book face to sell. WM is now on and I'm cooking dinner.0 -
I just wanted to say a big thanks. Only just started flying last week but have noticed a huge difference. Thanks from a very busy mum of two messy little ones!0

Just popping in to see whats left
Please excuse me while I have a minor rant  I've spent the day cleaning the house, so I haven't bothered getting dressedAnyway, when I had my lunch I noticed we only had 3 slices of bread left so when DD text to say she was on her way home I asked her to pop to Mr A or C0-0p for a CHEAP loaf, I even put CHEAP in capitals. She asked if she could go to the corner shop instead and I said okay, but get a CHEAP loaf. She walks in with a branded thickest loaf. I ask how much it cost expecting £1.50ish, no it cost £2.18:eek::mad::eek: I've just gone on mysup3rmarket & informed her that she could have bought 4 SP ones and still had change  She's looking sheepish. I think she'll think again next time
