I have sent a message to my course tutor to say that i can't continue. i have also sent a scathing reply to one of the tutors that made an attack on me, in a public forum  I have nothing to lose!
GI I cannot believe a tutor has been so unprofessional to make a public attack on you - you are right you have nothing to loose...the old Skinty would be taking screenshots of this abuse and forwarding it onto the head of faculty demanding action...people have to take accountability for their actions at the paid stuff day in day out, this tutor should be no different
Big hugs.....and as a friend of mine often quotes to me "snorkel, flippers and googles" for days when I am up the proverbial creek without a paddleand the depth of the S**T changes without warning

Thanks, folks; they've gone now, but they have to return to install a "pressure-reducing valve" as our water pressure is so high it's tripping the safety valve.
They wanted to come tomorrow, but I said No, so they're coming Saturday, when Mr LW will be here.:o
I honestly didn't feel I could cope with them tomorrow, with Mr LW absent, and a large and excitable Labrador in residence!
Mumof2 you remember correctly, we do indeed have a bungalow.
I think I may just have a large whisky.......

Evening everyone.
Got most of the lists done today. Was supposed to go to a funeral but DD didn't want me standing round in the cold and rain and being ill again. So stayed in the warm and cracked on with numerous tea breaks.
Have done some shredding of mums paperwork. Taken me all this time to manage to sort it out.
GoodIntentions Hugs.
Hugs spoons and sticks where needed. Also healing vibes for poorlies.0 -
Been at work all day, it was mental! Just made DDs dinner and will make mine in a bit. No flying yet, just going to put a wash on and will tidy kitchen while my dinner cooks.
Massive hugs to all in need - GoodIntentions, LameWolf, Kazwookie and anyone else I've missed.
Thanks for the PM Elle, not had a chance to reply as my box is full and can't be faffed emptying it right now:oThe trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -

What she said - I would be 'drawing it to the attention' of the head of faculty also. I'm disgusted at the sheer lack of professionalism.
I have discovered how to take my oven shelf supports out so they are going in the DW tonight, with the shelves. The oven bottom needs attention so the instructions re cleaning have been re-read. As it's a top-and-bottom heating oven I cannot use liners. Unfortunately.
At least the fact that I am more-or-less up to date with my flying means the house is NOT falling into a shambles.:T I am being paid back HUGELY for my insistence on 'gloating' on a Wednesday (usually) that my weekend's about to start LOL. Still, payday in February (a) is only 6 weeks away and (b) will be MEGA!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Helloooooo!
I managed to skim the thread earlier this week and love LW list - so much so I have adapted bits for myself!
My main problem is I underestimate how long things will take, end up taking on too much and beating myself up when it doesn't all get done.
So:
Mondays
SW
Tuesdays
Cadets
Wednesday
To be decided - may be going out
Thursday
Change bed and dust the dusty things
Friday
Gym and ironing
Saturday
Superclean kitchen and bathroom
Sunday
Gym and me day!
Obviously I do a whole load more than that but aiming for 1 or 2 things a day should hopefully mean they will all get done. Hubby is happy to hoover and do dishes, we cook between us.
Any extra time I'll declutter something but I have adopted Valli's approach and it seems to be working.............
See you all tomorrow hopefully,
x x xIf you wait for perfect conditions, nothing would ever get done! :T
I'm not short - I'm condensed awesome!0 -
Kaz lovely to have you home even if you are snotty and grotty
GI I have wondered about your DH with his pacing about waiting for the phone call, the mortgage thing etc but just thought he was stressed. I guess the lack of wages was because there were none due. Sending you loads and loads of coping vibes and remember we are here for you and will not judge whatever. As our lovely Toots would say 'Head down and battle on'
Mumto5 laundry seems to be causing real stress in your home right now. Good luck.
To the ironing for me next but a cuppa first I think. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Bossy in case I forget to say I will be thinking of you tomorrow and hope the day is not too painful for youThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
